They definitely got the “dog” part correct as the bun tasted like stale bread from last week! Furthermore I’ve had better hotdogs from street vendors!! Nothing at all special about this place!

Food was ok nothing special. But be careful ordering takeout. I did and decided to eat one of my hotdogs while a coworker waited for his order. Was confronted by a worker saying hey bags cost money and I should have said dine in. I don’t see the big deal just odd 🤷🏼♂️
10$ for a Ruben that was heated in a microwave. Is that a Chicago thing?pretty sure it's not. If you're gonna charge standard prices have standard food. Dont give it to old chef Mike for 1 min and call it a Ruben. GTFOH

Great food and staff. Loved the hot dogs.
So I was very excited to go there and try the Chicago dog try out some other items on the menu the Chicago dog did have a good snap to it. Unfortunately it was cold even though I watched them prepare it right in front of me. The chili also was a lukewarm temperature now mind you I was getting this to go, but I also work less than a minute away so it would not cool down that fast. The customer service seemed a little bit apprehensive and standoffish towards me. I will most definitely try them again

Don't bother ordering from here.
They use Publix potato salad.
Grocery store kosher spears from a jar.
Pastrami was dried out.
Ordered Swiss and got American cheese plus no mustard.
Just go to the Publix Deli and order a pastrami sandwich from there. You'll get 4 times the meat that also tastes 10 times better and get your sandwich made correctly. Buying the pickles and potato salad will taste the same and everything will be cheaper too.
My sister said her hotdog was okay.
Responding to rebuttal by the restaurant.
First, unless your website is completely wrong, yes I ordered from Chicago Deli & Coney Dogs.
Second, I ordered my pastrami sandwich on rye with Swiss, brown mustard, and onion. I received a pastrami sandwich on rye with American, onions, and pickles.
Third, potato salad tasted like Publix's Southern Style potato salad and 'hand sliced pickles' looked and tasted just like kosher spears right off the grocery store shelf.
I am a Chicago native and I love my Hot Dogs and especially the Beef. I called the order in and they said 15 minutes to pickup.. I get there well after 15 minutes and the order was not even made. The beef , if that’s what they call it was dry and a very small amount at that and the bun was super dry and at 8.99$ what a joke and disappointment. First and last time I ever eat there again.
