I was in the mood for take out Chinese to eat at home. I found China gate in Largo, a quick drive over the bridge. I ordered online and the order was ready when I go there. Very nondescript from the outside and inside but the food was tasty, plentiful and hot. WE had so much we got two meals out of each serving. The girl working the register was sweet as can be and very helpful. We would go again.
Honestly the most consistent Chinese place I have been to in the area. I usually order general Tso chicken, crab ragoon, lo mein, and fried rice. All are very good and I haven’t had a bad experience yet out of 6 orders.
Food was delivered hot and at expected time. Lo mein was similar to Panda Express, or decent. Egg rolls crispy but nothing special. Egg fu young was very tasty and fresh, just no gravy or sauce, which I have never seen before. This was probably our favorite thing out of the entire order. Chicken fried rice had chicken in it but again, was okay but nothing special. Don't recommend the fried wontons. My family did not even finish them. Overall, similar to mall asian cuisine....
