I’m a regular customer of this restaurant and today I was not happy. Ordered big breakfast and a soda. Food came out very quickly. Female owner brought our food to the table and sat plates down on the table in front of me. Waitress came by and noticed I got 3 sausage patties instead of 2 apparently. She with no permission; took my plate away and returned within seconds and one of my patties was gone. I asked why did you do that? She explained in front of owner that I should of gotten 2 patties instead of 3. I told her I often get this big breakfast and it comes with 3 patties sometimes. She asked if I wanted another patty for a charge, and I said no. This tactic today was not customer service friendly and not right. Plus the owner was right there and should of said to her just leave it. I was really pissed off as just the principle. I don’t think l’ll be going back as quite as frequently. There are plenty of other good breakfast places close to my home. The bottom line is once my plate is on the table on front of me; it should of stayed unless I had a problem. Terrible customer service doing what she did. Not the right thing!

The waitress looked right at me and walked away instead of bringing a menu. Normally would be 5 stars for service, but was very disappointed this time. Food is good for the price and the Veterans discount is great.
We love this place. Have enjoyed them for years. They became very special recently because while everyone else was closed because of Milton and the power outages affected most of us. They opened with no power but because they cook with gas they were open. We sat in the dark and those amazing cooks sent food out like it was just another day. It was amazing!!!! The best

Ronda approved! That means it's clean, has the right attitude about what they do and what it means to be a good restaurant and just does things right. Little things matter like having butter that is ready to spread instead of being cold, yummy Western omelette and good coffee. Extra crispy bacon just like I like. Attentive servers. Good eggs, cooked correctly.
