Dharma Kava Lounge is one of the few places around here where LGBTQ people and allies can actually relax and feel safe. Even though there’s a very political, far-right coffee shop in the same plaza, the vibe at Dharma is completely different. We keep them over there, and we stay here. Dharma has built a welcoming space where people can just exist, hang out, and be themselves without the tension or hostility that shows up in other places. Good drinks, good people, and a community that looks out for each other. If you want a chill, inclusive spot where LGBTQ folks and friends can feel comfortable, Dharma Kava Lounge is it. 🌈

What really elevates Dharma, though, is the outstanding service. Haley and Lief are wonderful servers. They're always friendly, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and quick to make recommendations or answer questions with a smile. They genuinely enhance the whole experience and make you feel right at home. The drinks are consistently top-notch: strong, well-prepared kava that delivers that signature relaxing effect without any harshness, plus creative flavors that keep things exciting.
If you're in the Clearwater/Largo area and want a laid-back spot to relieve stress, connect with people, or simply enjoy high-quality non-alcoholic beverages in a positive environment, Dharma Kava Lounge is an absolute must-visit. I can't recommend it enough. 5 stars all the way!

Dharma is a fantastic place to hang out and enjoy a nice refreshing beverage! I recommend the chai and red teas. The Kava tenders are all knowledgeable and personable. There are different events throughout the weekdays and special events too, including karaoke, trivia, art markets, and DJ parties!
I’ve met a lot of great people at this place. They have a lot events including trivia and open mic and karaoke. Always a good time to chill with great people.
