El Tipico Latino Restaurant is a hidden gem serving authentic Latin cuisine. This unassuming restaurant may not look like much from the outside, but the food is truly outstanding and a great value for the price. The menu boasts a variety of dishes, including traditional Dominican and Cuban options. The Típico Fried Platter, featuring a sampling of fried pork, chicken, sausage, salami, cheese, casava, and tostones, is a must-try. The Ropa Vieja, a classic Cuban dish with tender beef and flavorful juices, is also a standout.
The chef and owner, from the Dominican Republic, bring their cultural heritage to the table, offering a genuine Latin dining experience. The restaurant's clean and welcoming atmosphere, combined with exceptional customer service, makes it a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Latin food. Customers praise the restaurant's fresh, homemade meals, affordable prices, and fast service. The Hispanic food in Florida is top-tier, and El Tipico Latino Restaurant is no exception, with favorites like pernil (roasted pork), carne guisada (beef stew), and chicharrón (fried pork skin) with rice and beans and yuca.
