Ordered 1/2 rack of ribs and a side for $15. Great deal! Ribs and Baked beans were amazing. Enough for 2. Also ordered the chopped Beef and sliced Brisket. Tender and juicy, full of flavor. I work at a local nonprofit in South St. Pete, and we've had J News BBQ & Grille cater several of our events. The food is always delicious and a hit with our guests! Recently, they catered a large breakfast for 150 guests, and it was absolutely amazing. The portions were generous, the quality was top-notch, and everything was served fresh and flavorful. Their pricing is very reasonable for the quality you receive, and we love supporting a great local small business. Highly recommend J News BBQ & Grille for any event or gathering!

Always a 5 star experience! The menu is packed with tasty options that are both savory and sweet, but I recently enjoyed the chicken and shrimp bowls, and they're fantastically filled with flavor! They come with broccoli and rice thats perfectly seasoned and reasonably priced. I will be back again!

The food is so good! It’s definitely going fill you up and also give you the itis. I always have left overs. There’s a variety of items to choose and the wait isn’t long. The drinks are fire too!

First time coming to this establishment and we got the Sunday rib dinner two sides (cabbage/baked beans)also ordered smothered fried chicken two sides (candied yams/ Mac and cheese) I also got the seafood salad, everything was seasoned perfectly. The seafood salad wow if I knew how good that was going to be I would have got more than one. I haven’t had good soul food like this in awhile ! Friendly employees great service highly recommend and will definitely be back!

One of my favorite places for BBQ and delicious soul food. This is the smothered pork over yellow rice, Mac n Cheese (Yum) , cabbage and corn bread. Colored greens are legit as well as they are seasoned to perfection IMO. Friendly staff.

The food here is life changing. They catered my niece and nephews wedding a few months ago. Best wedding food I have ever had. Have now visited 3 times and food is absolutely amazing. Best bbq I have ever had. So nice to find a local family owned business that obviously takes great pride in what they do.
