I have eaten at Largo family restaurant for years. The food was always good and reasonably priced. Recently new owners took over and greed ruined it. The quality of the food is rancid. They doubled the prices and charge prices not on menu. I recently went of Friday night for the fri ed cod. I asked if they had it and I said I'd take the special. The fish taste and quality was spoiled and seemed sour. I did not finish it. When the bill came I had been charged a Super charge $6 above the 13.99 special posted on the menu and on signage all over Largo. I was charged 21.99.
I asked for a manager and was told they don't have mgr and owners were not in. I pointed out I had asked for and ordered the special and was over charged. I now know why their parking is always empty. People aren't coming in for awful food and super charged prices. It's a shame greed took over and ruined this wonderful ole Family restaurant. Don't waste your time ... they'll double your money for horrid food.
I would like to mention first that I am a VERY fussy customer, I like my food & drink a certain way. I have been to many restaurants, and when I order my food and coffee, I always ask the waiter or waitress to zap my coffee in the microwave for about 15 seconds because I like my coffee extremely HOT, most waiter or waitresses will roll their eyes or say they can’t do it, but I went to Largo Family Restaurant and I had the fortunate waiter named Dillion, he not only found ways to say YES to my every request but also he didn’t roll his eyes at me. Dillion provided EXCELLENT service and he was professional and courteous and I will go back to this restaurant again because of the service that was provided & oh yes the food was great also.

Service was slow, & the breakfast rush was over, & lunch hadn't quite started like 11:30am. Food was decent size & filling but bland not even salt & pepper, & hot sauce save that dish.
Had breakfast at LARGO FAMILY RESTAURANT on 9/3/2025 with two others. Everyone in are party (the three of us) we each all got sick after eating here on 9/3/25!
Two of us we ordered same meal. I could not finish 60 percent of breakfast plate biscuits and gravy the biscuits meal tasted off and frankly stale/old. The biscuits were definitely not freshly made whatsoever and gravy did not even soften biscuits even after several minutes soaked in gravy.
Honestly the worst biscuits and gravy meal ever had in my lifetime. Will never return back nor ever eat here again after the experience.

They don't answer the phone so there's no way to place an order to go without driving there and waiting for it, which defeats the entire purpose of getting food to go. With so few options for American style food in my new area, this sure is disappointing.
