Our first time at Finley's Irish Pub & Eatery, will not be our last, You know we are always on the look out for places to eat when we travel. We had to over- night in Largo, and discovered Finley's on a drive by, and said let's try the restuarant. Glad we did, very nice place and with a Irish decor made you feel welcome. We couldn't believe the restuarant was almost filled with the locals and soon we discovered why. The staff is warm with a nice greeting, smiling all the time, very friendly and listens and making sure your order is to your liking. Many choices of entrees- burgers, salads, sandwichs. From Ireland, England, we had for dinner a Shepards Pie & Fish & Chips- both where very good and mouth watering, and of course Guinness, Harp,Smithwick and Killian's Irish Red on Tap with 9 more others beers on Tap. Also a full bar. And with entertainment on weekends, plus a good size dance floor. We had a good time enjoying the atmospere and the entrees, Finley's kinda reminded us of the Pub we went to in Cork, Ireland. Disabled are welcomed, parking is very limited for the disabled but very welcomed. We will be back in Largo and will see ya at Finley's in October... The band was awesome but slow bar service and management is awful. If you were at the bar and someone is barfing wouldn’t you ask them to leave instead of leaving them at the bar. The experience was horrible and no return by this couple Goodluck Finleys

We have eaten at Finley’s twice in two weeks. The service and food are quite good! Must try the Reuben rolls appetizer! So tasty! I tried the fish and chips, and was very pleased.. nice light batter and very large portions. We sat at the bar, hoping to watch the Players golf tournament. The bartender was most accommodating and put it on the right channel for us. My husband had the meatloaf, and the Guinness gravy on it is Amazing! I would strongly recommend this restaurant. They have a nice menu with lots of yummy choices!

I always loved it there going a couple of times a week. A few weeks ago I had an extra charge on my credit card. I went in very politely saying it was probably a server error and asked to have it looked into. I was treated very rudely by a young bonde female manager, and also at first by a male worker, who then apologized after he found the mistake. They accidentally kept my credit card and when I went back to get it the girl was very rude again. I sent an email to there contact email address in a polite tone that I was not happy with their unprofessional customer service. It's beek 2 weeks and have not heard back from them. Because of this I will not be spending any money there

Occasional good bands. Inconsistency on food quality and server attitude/courtesy. IT'S A GAMBLE: Sometimes you'll have a great time and everything is right. Other times you'll be highly disappointed. One recent example is while eating an appetizer, I bit into a pea sized foreign object. Luckily I didn't swallow and my teeth weren't damaged. I notified my server and she supposedly showed the object to the cook. That was the end of it. She never came back to my booth the rest of the night. Then at the end of the night another server hands me the bill. No apology, no follow-up and total lack of courtesy. Shameful! Personally I can no longer trust the kitchen at Finley's or tolerate the previous mentioned inconsistencies. I'll NEVER GO BACK. Just an honest review from many years of experience.

No food was refused service because I had a backpack on seems like they have a problem with homeless people bathing in the bathroom it's empty ?

This time wasnt the best. I preferred the other KJ Rik,the beer was a bit off, couldn't get sound system up. Bartender was awesome and attentive and typically no issues

Good little dive bar for locals to the area. 3.00 dollar drafts when not happy hour. Opens early. Smoking is allowed at the bar.

We went in last Sunday night for wings. We have gotten excellent service before with a smile and friendly staff, but they were busy this time, but that's no excuse to be cold and unfriendly with no smile, no personality, very cold. My wings were ok. My wife NACHOS WERE NOT SEVED WITH CHILI. We had had problems with their Nachos before. So, we had to reorder, the server absolutely disappears for 20 mins. we wanted our dinner served together, but that didn't happen, and she didn't care about us, finally she shows up and it's too late, we had to ask for to go box and go somewhere else for dinner. As a regular customer very sad for us to be treated in a piss poor manner by unfriendly staff, no smile, no personality, no apology for terrible service and lack of communication. These servers need to smile and be kind to all folks that walk in that door. I rate my service poor, average, excellent, Sunday night service was piss POOR. Management needs to have a long talk with these cold-hearted faces that is not attractive to customers eyes. My wife will not come back for one year now. Because the unprofessional manner we were treated. We eat out a lot, many places, I have been writing for Trip advisor over 11 years. very unfortune good folks get caught up with ungrateful service with no heart or smile. They need retrained. We live nearby so decided to try it for dinner on a Saturday evening. The spinach artichoke dip is AMAZING! It's not like any other spinach and artichoke dip I've ever had. The rueben rolls were very good too. I had the shepherd's pie, which was delicious and my boyfriend had the bangers and mash, which he also loved. The waitstaff was very attentive. They also have live music on Saturday nights but we left before the band started. We'll definitely be back!

My wife and I stopped by here on St. Patrick's Day a couple of years ago and were disappointed. So, we decided to give it another try recently to see if we had a different opinion. The place appeared to be clean and well-maintained with ample off-street parking. They were understaffed with only one waitress taking care of all patrons so the service was spotty and rather slow at times. My wife was very satisfied with the irish food items they offered and she said her fish and chips were really fresh. They have irish and imported beers however, there were no imported ciders offered. My iced tea, onion rings and pork tenderloin sandwich were average overall. A common issue at this place is also the music they play. When we were there previously, they had live 50s type music, no irish music, and on our most recent visit they played 70s rock and roll music over speakers. Nothing remotely irish. It boggles the mind that you go to the trouble of running an 'Irish Pub' and you don't offer imported ciders and irish music. So, we had mixed opinions. My wife thought this place was very good and I just gave it an average. If you like irish style food and beer, and don't care about anything else, it may be worth it for you.
