This place has been here since I was born and every time I go, I’m not very impressed. I just went today $5 for 2 eggs and $10 for three medium pancakes comparable to McDonald’s hotcakes. If you order their fish, it is literally Walmart cod fillets reheated. Every time I go I spend over $20 for $4 worth of Walmart food. Bathrooms are one person. No privacy while eating at all. Might as well go to a real restaurant would be same price, better food and atmosphere

Great breakfast, fast to arrive but the young server was anywhere but there at work apparently. She was rude, rushed so much she got things incorrect and I would say to MGMT that it may be wise to hire a server who is middle aged and aware of providing great conversation with service. Mumbling, in her head and not making eye contact is not acceptable. We are in our 70's and we come often. Food for thought.

I had the meat omlette.It was OK. Most of the food had the same flavor as if it was all cooked in the same grease. Coffee was very good. The waitresses were very helpful and the atmosphere was good. Had some Ryde customers that didn't even leave a tip and the waitresses have to share the tips amongst them. Not cool customer!!

I had breakfast at Ted’s Luncheonette and left genuinely impressed. From the moment I walked in, the service stood out—our servers were warm, friendly, and truly professional, checking in at the right times without ever being intrusive. The kitchen was also incredibly efficient; our food came out in about 10–15 minutes, which is exactly what you hope for at breakfast.
The food quality was excellent. One detail that surprised me in the best way was the potatoes—I was a little unsure at first because they weren’t the style I’m used to, but the first bite completely won me over. They were perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and they made the whole meal better.
Ted’s gets the important things right: great hospitality, fast service, and well-prepared food. You can feel the care behind what they do. I’d absolutely come back and I recommend it with confidence.
