Went with a large group of ladies for lunch and had a fabulous meal! Most of us had not dined there before, but all of us will be back, some ladies ordered take-out to bring home for their families they enjoyed it so much!I know I’ll be back for sure!!

OMG! This place is such a jewel!! We'd been hunting for great Thai food (and Sushi) since wintering down here 13 years ago. Coming from Chicago, you can't round a corner without finding great Thai, so we were happy to finally find it here.This place is so cool.One side has "old school" & old fashioned Thai/Chinese decor. The other side was just blown out and super modern with high ceilings big screen TV's a HUGE bar....and get this!....He brews his own beer. I'm bit of beer snob?...this stuff is AWESOME. He just started 2 new brews and I love 'em all.The food isn't just good, it's outstanding. The sushi is legit!Never had the same thing twice and the service is just good. Prices are super reasonable too.Absolutely head the Thai Basil and THAI ONE ON!

I have been eating real authentic Thai food for about 25-30 years now. I know my Thai and maybe that’s my problem I’m not sure. However I order Pad Ke Mao (crazy noodles) and I understand each establishment makes it differently and that’s okay- different can be good. When I asked for this- they gave me basil noodles with chicken and said that was the same thing. It wasn’t. It was horrible. Small noddles thicker than the regular rice noodle. But it was the taste- it wasn’t spicy- it was bland and has a fish taste- it was not good. So I was kind and asked for something else. No joke/ the cook came out and yelled at me. And said nothing is wrong with it and I need to eat it and she won’t give me anything else. In front of other people. She looked literally demonic. I’m sorry but never ever go here. The 5 stars is really overdoing it. The staff was not very good either. Asked for friend rice for my kid and ordered egg fried rice- why? I never asked for it. Terrible!! They made me feel so uncomfortable and their Thai food is like a cafeteria type. I can cook Thai better than they can with my eyes closed!

Worst restaurant, unfriendly service and they can’t cook traditional dishes. This is the place you go if you want something to happen to you. If you’re looking for an interesting night, roll the dice. Just be prepared to eat ONLY what they give you or they WILL come yell at you. Yes. The cook will come out and YELL at you for their mistakes.

I can’t say enough about the quality of entrees sides and sushi here. The staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is beautiful. Food is reasonable considering the quality and service. You can eat a full meal and you won’t feel bad like some places I’ve been- it’s that kind of quality. Recently expanded into full liquor and brewery, best of both worlds right here. Exceptionally loyal because of the above.

The Tom Kha soup had absolutely no galangal flavor in it and had no discernible taste of lemongrass or even fish sauce. The main ingredient that you could taste was the salt! When the green curry shrimp arrived, the sauce looked very watery and had almost no green color to it. It was completely tasteless. Even the Thai iced coffee was not good. This might be the worst Thai food I've had in over 20 years. Obviously obviously the chef is not tasting their own food that they're sending out because it is completely bland!

I'll be back. I love that they offer both sushi and Thai menus. Very large restaurant can seat many people. The raw tuna and raw salmon nigiri were fresh and good quality. I also like the taste of their sushi rice, ginger and strong wasabi. Those are my go-to foods, so I will surely order them again. I enjoyed the "side salad" with ginger dressing which wasn't mentioned on the menu. Iceberg lettuce, tomato and crisp carrot slivers. The dressing was thin, off white and tasted like soy sauce was one of the ingredients. Not my favorite dressing but not bad either. The veggie spring roll appetizer from the Thai menu was a larger portion than I expected, so I wasn't able to finish them. They were tasty, but the raspberry sauce was thin and lacked flavor. You can't get me to order fried food unless it's exceptional, or it isn't worth the calories.

Great added room hosting a sushi bar, cocktail bar and booths. They are also making beer. Each time we go we try new things and like them. First good Thai place and sushi place in 10 years. Large entree so leftovers for sure.

What a great restaurant and pleasant surprise as you walk into this restaurant in a strip center. They have a long bar, bright, contemporary atmosphere, TV's and they make craft beers. We had the yum-yum soup, shared the yellow curry and egg rolls. All were delicious and our bill was less than $50 with drinks for 2 . We can't wait to go back next week.

WOW!!! You really need to visit Thai Basil on West Bay. They have purchased the space next door, broke through the wall and added a full drinks bar, a sushi bar, a beer brewery and sexy tables and booths! They still have their excellent food and service, but now has a whole NEW VIBE! We just finished dinner and drinks with a party of 6. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the service was quick, friendly and efficient. The food was served hot, as expected. I highly recommend this place!
