If I could give zero stars I would. Food was nasty. Not flavorful at all and old food was given with a side of spoiled dry Mac n cheese. Worst place ever rude staff .

First time trying this place and I decided to based on the reviews. We didn't have a positive experience like others. They were not very friendly at all. I love the plantains but did not like they way it was prepared here. It was boiled and texture was gooey. Stay away from the greens, taste like not from a can and it's not good. The Mac and cheese was a bit dry but tasted ok. The j*** chicken again was very dry. Oxtail was ok but not much gravely. The location was nice, seating area inside and very clean. $35 for two meals we were unhappy with. I probably wouldn't go here again.

OMG, the closet to my family cooking. Hands down. So happy I stumbled across Yardie Vybz. Been looking for this here in clearwater for 4 years now and finally found it. I surely will be back, no doubt. Also, awesome customer service.

The curry goat was good. I ordered $80 worth of food and feel like I paid $60 too much. The rice and "peas" literally had NO PEAS! The curry chicken had texture as if it was cooked in a crock pot where the meat almost disintegrated in my mouth. The was no bite to it. The Mac and cheese is nothing like the picture. It was more like box Mac and cheese. I wasn't able to finish most of my food. My son had j*** chicken and he said it was just ok. Everyone else was disappointed as was I. Lackluster to say the least.

I ordered J*** chicken and it was baked chicken without any seasoning. Plantains were undercooked and they charged 5 dollars for one plantain in the order. It was my second visit after a bad 1st experience.

We drove over because Yelp hours said they were open. When we arrived, they were closed. I messaged the owner, and received a response that they would update their hours. So imagine our surprise, when one month later we drive over there again...because Yelp said they were closed yesterday, but Open today......only to find they are closed- again! How hard is it, to keep consistent hours, and post it correctly across all platforms?? Gas is too expensive to be doing this! Food looks good, but we'll never know.

So disappointed. Someone recommended this place to me and I am not impressed. The food is flavorless. I had to put hot sauce on my oxtails to give them some taste. My entire order was like eating water. The Mac and cheese was cheap boxed Mac and cheese you buy out of a grocery store and the cabbage was not fresh.

Having a few Decades ofJamaican food experience I was excited to see a location in Largo. I placed my order telephone and the food was served as I arrived. I was disappointed that the welcoming attitude wasn't there. I went on a weekend afternoon and was the ONLY customer. Anyway, my j*** chicken was charred and lacked heat. The sauce was great. I bought the curry goat for someone who loved it. So far I haven't returned but really want to support a locally Minority owned food joint!
Food was hot and fresh. Generous portions for good price. Flavor of chicken was delicious. Will be back to order again. I drove a distance to try this place and it didn’t disappoint.

Friendly staff. Great ambiance with a tropical atmosphere. The food is great. We bought oxtail, j*** ribs with rice and peas with steamed vegetables. Delicious!!! Ample portions for the price. I especially like the beef patty. We will definitely be back.

The goat curry was excellent and a very large portion. Also good Mac& cheese and slaw sides. Order at the counter. All disposable containers and flatware. Moderate spice,not overwhelming. Side of very Hot sauce.

Food 5/5 I've been wanting to try this spot for a while and I also wanted to be the first Yelp elite to review it so HA !!! I beat ya to it..... all pettiness aside I'm loving yardie Vybz. The space itself isn't too big it probably fits about 15-20 people so not ideal for big parties. The food is excellent here , let's start with the bread fruit because this would be my first experience with it and certainly not the last. It's like a plantain but with the slightest hint of sweetness that makes it so addicting a must try imo. I'm used to getting a couple of pieces of oxtail with my orders but not here this was a proper serving size and i thoroughly enjoyed the flavors . It was actually less salty than I anticipated but still great, it was tender , aromatic and value wise probably the best you can find around given the price of oxtails. The j*** chicken was awesome as well but I have a slight critique, it was just a tad drier than I'd like but I LOVED the j*** sauce that came on the side , a decent amount of kick to keep things interesting and it was tender as well. Coco bread was like a mild Hawaiian roll. Think a white dinner roll with a tad bit of sweetness and coconut aromas. The Jamaican beef patty was my only disappointment, I felt it was dry on the inside and not as flaky as I'd expect One to be but it was decent at best. Definitely loving the portion sizes here as well as flavors pop in you'll leave with a full belly and happy heart.

If I could give this place ten stars I would! It's been so difficult finding a good Caribbean restaurant in Florida after moving from Atlanta. This place felt like home. We had the brown stew chicken, curry chicken, oxtail, plantain, and they even had bun and Jamaican cheese! Everything was super flavorful. Portion sizes were perfect- they don't overcharge either. The customer service was excellent- friendly and accommodating. My family us so happy to have found this spot. My son is still raving about it while he's eating. I'm saving this location to visit again!
