Michela or Mikela the server was great . I definitely will go back . It a was a special occasion menu ( only Brunch buffet ) for Easter. However they have regular menu on the weekends

Love this restaurant! Family owned and run with great pride and attention to detail. Exceptional food and drink and the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Can only say that Lauderdale by the Sea's gain was Hamden, Connecticut's loss. We will be back again to enjoy the fabulous food and the entertainment! Thank you for Disco night with Mickey Dee! Definitely give Mickey's Downtown Bistro a try! You won't be sorry.

Food is good and plentiful. Service is good, servers are pleasant and quick. We have been there a number of times and will be going back soon. Also they have great entertainment.

Other than a service problem, great entertainment, delicious food (linguini pescatore maybe a tad too spicey) . Nothing to stop us from returning.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Mickey’s Downtown Bistro! This place is underrated to say the least. The food and drinks are delicious, every time. Very consistent. Good quality food. Amazing live music!! incredible service from Sean and Rachel —friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. If you're looking for a spot with amazing food, drinks, service and music that goes above and beyond, Mickey’s is it. Five stars all the way!

Great place. Rachel is an absolute doll, you best treat her well.

The Med Grill is *KILLER*...I sub the lamb skewer for another chicken, but it is easily two meals, either way.

They also usually have live entertainment, which can be hit or miss, but it tends to the entertaining.

All in all, a great place to go for a chill evening.

Even the music was also wonderful. Had fun until manager walked up to my friend, who had been dancing, and told her that her dress had slipped and if she didn't fix it she would be "thrown out" ,after just spending over $100 to split a meal! Really, a simple tap on the shoulder to let the girl know she had a wardrobe mishap would have sufficed.

My mother , girlfriend and I went to dinner . The food was excellent!! The Portion size was huge . There was a large selection of cocktails .. Highly recommend the place !

They charge a 20% gratuity. Not sure why. Band has own tip jar. Food ok. Antipasta for 2 should have come w crackers. Chicken parm didn't come w garlic bread. Had to buy pita bread for Xtra $2. Entertainment is only reason I would come here. Lots of columns in way of seeing stage.

Food is fabulous, genuine, fresh, Italian. Beautifully presented. Current favorites are the Burratta, the carparcio, the chicken Parm and the eggplant rollatini...the best I've had!!! Their sauce is authentic and fresh. Make this place a regular stop...and free parking!

Had heard really good things about this place but ended up disappointed. Service was mixed, we sat at the bar & one bartender was great. Genial, checking in with us etc…. I had to flag a bartender down to get an appetizer ordered & a drink refill. Then again to order dinner. Food was mediocre, one dish over cooked another undercooked. We didn’t say anything as it wasn’t inedible but …..
I will give them another try in a month or so. May stick with appetizers instead of a meal. You can’t beat the prices during HH.
