Singh’s Roti Shop in Lauderhill is a cozy spot with a great atmosphere and super friendly staff. The doubles are simple but satisfying, and the channa offers a nice base that could become outstanding with a few tweaks. It’s a great place to stop in for casual dining, and with the service and vibe, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I did not mention price in my review. Bringing up the $7.50 cost implies that the underwhelming quality of the food was acceptable because of the price, which was not the point of my feedback. My comments were based solely on the taste and quality, not the cost. 1 Star Now

Today, my husband picked up lunch from this restaurant. Don't you dislike ordering food that doesn't satisfy you? The food was very underwhelming.

Spent almost $100.00 The roti was stale the doubles was stale and hard the channa was spoilt the meat Goat & Duck was also yesterday’s food the serving size was laughable my baby Granddaughter eats more than the amount served. The food totally ruined a Happy Birthday for a special person. These people can’t cook to save their lives. Shame on “Cooking With Natasha” for endorsing such a horrible establishment

I have been going to Singh's forever and every NEVER FAIL!! I don't care what anybody says they are consistent, nobody can even come close to how delicious their doubles, roti, and everything is. The service is TOP TIER Praveen and Gavendra are the epitome of Customer Service. To see their kids now involved in the business is such a blessing. There is no party or event I have when an order to Singh's is not placed....the roti has to be on the menu. I love you guys with my whole heart. Thank you for being so awesome and consistent.

I love this place. I was in Fort Lauderdale this weekend and wanted some veggie roti. I was so sad I drove there and they were closed. 😢 On vacation. I guess we all need vacation time. Sadly went to a place close by and was very disappointed.

I had a very disappointing experience here that I feel needs to be shared. I was purchasing food not just for myself, but also for a homeless man. When the staff realized who part of the order was for, they began taking back portions of the food they had already prepared. This kind of discriminatory behavior is completely unacceptable. Everyone deserves to be treated with basic respect, regardless of their situation in life.

Additionally, I ordered 6 doubles and specifically requested everything to be packed separately. Instead, I was only given 6 barras and just enough channa for that — which means I only received half of what I paid for. Either this was an intentional shortchange or a careless mistake, but either way, it's poor business practice.

Trying to scam customers and showing bias toward certain people is not only bad for business, it's just wrong. I won't be returning, and I would encourage others to think twice before supporting a place that doesn't treat all people equally.

Just about the only place i will buy Trini food from. The curry here is like home cooking and the roti is great. You have to try the doubles the best

I can’t believe they charge $3 to put the sauces on the side. That’s really petty of them. My father called them; the amount of excuses they gave him is ridiculous. I’ve been to many other places and have them put the sauces on the side, not ONCE have I been charged for that. It doesn’t make any sense and definitely not good business.

I visited this place today July 4th 2025 and the service is second to none. The staff is very friendly and they went above and beyond to ensure that my visit here was worth it. They didn’t disappoint.
Come to Singh’s where you feel comfortable. The food is excellent.

Very tasty, authentic, West Indian meals. This is one of the only restaurants I can get curried mango as well. This is real home cooking, as if you’re in your mother’s kitchen eating, unlike the others where food is mass produced and tastes generic. I order while I’m heading there via the phone and then pick up. The couple who owns this restaurant is very humble and very patient with my large order over the phone. Here you can find Trinidad/Guyanese cuisine, drinks and desserts. While you wait you can enjoy Caribbean music and chat with locals and tourists from the islands!
