“I can't fully express how exceptional this restaurant is. I organized a sunset cruise for a group of 24 guests, but unfortunately, they didn’t have the provisions (food) we were expecting. In a moment of panic, I contacted the owner, Jackson, and explained the situation, hoping for a backup plan within 30 minutes (sounds impossible 🥵). Not only did he agree to accommodate us, he immediately began preparing for us. Once we arrived, he and his team welcomed us with such warmth and hospitality. Our table was beautifully set, complete with a customized and printed menu just for us. He chose 3 dinner options for our party and actually had custom printed menus! Wow!! Drinks, salad, and bread were flowing within minutes, and the food? Absolutely divine—without a doubt the best Italian cuisine we’ve ever had. To top it off, there was a live performer who was fantastic! Totally unexpected, we had no clue there was entertainment but such another great treat. She engaged with everyone, took song requests, and even invited guests to join her to sing. The entire experience, from the atmosphere to the impeccable service, was beyond anything we could have hoped for. Jackson even served our table personally and jumped in to assist his team, going the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and special. He continued to check in and make sure we were ok and had everything we needed and accommodated every single request ❤️ I am incredibly grateful for everything. Jackson and his staff turned what could have been a stressful situation into an unforgettable evening. This special group of oncology nurses truly deserved a memorable night, and thanks to you, we got exactly that. Thank you so much for making it an experience we will never forget! 🥰“

“We had such an awesome experience at Rooftop @1WLO. Huge thank you to Nikki Taylor, who was seriously amazing from start to finish. Even though we reached out super last minute, she somehow made everything come together perfectly. She went above and beyond coordinating the table, handled all the details, and was so supportive with all the bachelor party logistics.

Also, the ambience up there is unbeatable. The lighting, music, and views all come together to make it such a fun vibe. The drink service was fast and friendly, and every cocktail we had was on point. The staff really kept the energy going all night, and it made the whole night feel effortless.

I was waiting for the boat to return and Manny, a server, was so nice and thoughtful and asked if I wanted water while I waited and brought it over. They also offered water to others waiting for free since they are beside the dock. If I’m back in the area, would like to try them.“

As a bar, it had a limited but satisfying beer and liquor selection but offsets that lack of variety with high quality food. The wings are amazing, and there are lots of fried seafood, salads, sandwiches and burgers, all fresher and tastier than you’d expect. This is also a no frills bar for locals, a true neighborhood hangout worth getting to know even if you don’t live in the neighborhood.“

All of the reviews I've read on this place is what made me come here except for the ridiculously entitled people who complain about having to wait an extra 10 minutes. To attack a business because they're busy and they're doing their best to get you a seed is selfish and shows how much you think the world revolves around you. I wish they had an app that you can review the reviewer. I hope you get stuck in traffic for the next month. I hope the next time you have to crap in public The person that's in the bathroom before you has constipation. I also hope the next time you have a toothache The dentist gets a flat tire and makes you wait in the waiting room for 45 minutes. This is a great restaurant The food was very good The server was very nice never even paid attention to how long it took to see us I was actually kind of excited because the place was busy and I knew it was going to be good. “LOVED this place back when I smoked and stopped coming when I stopped despite loving the food and the service. Now that it's non-smoking I stopped in for my favorite gravy/cheese steak fries but they don't have them anymore. No problem, ordered Jersey Fries instead! But they're not Jersey Fries. Just regular fries with seasoning?? Anyone would be confused and disappointed. I would serious consider changing the name of this menu item.

Edited 12/22/24: After seeing the owners response I came in again to get my favorite fries. Came out piping hot, covered in (real!) melted cheese with a yummy side dish of gravy. I was on Cloud 9! Forgot to ask for Lisa but I appreciate her response and my do-over. I'll be back! Great service as always. ❤️“

“We evacuated to Ft Lauderdale from Port Charlotte during hurricane Ian and stumbled upon this wonderful Sandbar Grill while in town. Service was so amazing the first night that we had to go back. Overall, the staff and the food and the drinks were amazing!!! Everyone was so friendly and it totally helped us keep our minds calm knowing that a hurricane was hitting our home town. “This is really my favorite hotel in South Beach. The property is right on the beach. There’s a nice pool, great beach, and accommodating staff. The decor is true Art Deco, but it’s at this point in need of some love. The rooms are starting to show wear. I was “upgraded” because of my status to a balcony room. The balcony was just big enough for a chair. No more. And the only window was the slider. Still the view was amazing.“

“Kathy absolutely saved the day with her customer service, she went above and beyond for her customer and assisted me with retrieving my phone in the chair abyss of the side of the booth. Honestly the entire team went above and beyond asking what they could bring or do to help. Well worth coming to an establishment like this if they are willing to venture out of the restaurant biz and go into carpentry for a lost phone! Once again thank you kathy and team! Give em a raise!“
