We had to get back to where we were parked by a specific time and ended up having to rush because we waited so long for our salads and then for our check after we were done eating. “It’s a cool place, I won’t take that away from them. But I’ve been there a few times and there’s definitely an “in” crowd that seems to be there every time I go. Kind of feels cliquey. And I’ve asked for flavored tea a few times and idk if they’re out or just not listening but I end up with a non flavored tea that I just kind of accept and deal with. It would be nice if the bartenders or whatever you call them actually ask your name or say thank you after you pay them instead of just walking away. Just seems like there’s two rungs of service.“

I was on Oakland blvd wanting espresso so bad. Instead...I walked into The Cigar Bar next door. The bartender Earl made me THE BEST espresso martini I have ever had in my life and I am almost 50!!! He uses freshest Italian espresso... a little kahlua and a generous amount of stoli vanilla and then he shakes it really really hard. 🍸🍸So yummy! Go visit Earl day drinking is the best.

They frequently have food trucks that visit, ranging from tasty smashy crispy burgers, to their own fantastic taco express food truck (best hot sauce!) and even a legendary Geisha master shows up every now and then. In a moment of panic, I contacted the owner, Jackson, and explained the situation, hoping for a backup plan within 30 minutes (sounds impossible 🥵). Not only did he agree to accommodate us, he immediately began preparing for us. Once we arrived, he and his team welcomed us with such warmth and hospitality. Our table was beautifully set, complete with a customized and printed menu just for us. He chose 3 dinner options for our party and actually had custom printed menus! Wow!! Drinks, salad, and bread were flowing within minutes, and the food? Absolutely divine—without a doubt the best Italian cuisine we’ve ever had. To top it off, there was a live performer who was fantastic! Totally unexpected, we had no clue there was entertainment but such another great treat. She engaged with everyone, took song requests, and even invited guests to join her to sing. The entire experience, from the atmosphere to the impeccable service, was beyond anything we could have hoped for. Jackson even served our table personally and jumped in to assist his team, going the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and special. He continued to check in and make sure we were ok and had everything we needed and accommodated every single request ❤️ I am incredibly grateful for everything.
