“Love this place! My buddy and I go annually four our birthday lunch. We always start off with a couple of meatballs a Coca-Cola with that awesomely shaved ice and then we get a steak with sauce cheese and I get it with peppers. You can ask for hot peppers on the side that I always line with it. We're from Philly and we call it a pizza steak. Tiptop“

“Great food and great service. You must come here while in town. The sandwiches here were delicious but the restaurant manager was even nicer and super friendly and helpful! I recommend the Philly Cheesesteak with provolone. But the highlight here is the service. This place is the place to eat the night before your cruise sets sail here in Ft. Lauderdale. Definitely worth trying if you’re in town!“

“It had been years since we’ve visited Spankys. The new owner truly turned this place around. So thankful I saw channel 10 awarding you a clean plate or else I probably never would have returned. Our server was extremely friendly and sweet. She had a welcoming personality. Place really cleaned up, while keeping the atmosphere and taste the same. An owner at another cheesesteak place in east Ft Lauderdale had encouraged us give them another try. It felt great coming back and will be back again soon“

“We again went and had our usual wonderful Philly Steak combo this morning. The owners were not there this which I always enjoy speaking with them. The 2 wonderful young women employees served us well and our order was to perfection. Thank you for the great service. Love supporting young families building their business.“

“I lived in Philly in the 70's and have been hard pressed to find a decent cheesesteak ever since I left. I finally found the closest one today.........and it was just like I remembered from Pat's or Gino's in South Philly. Even the bread (which is the "soul" of the sandwich) was loaded with "brotherly love." The best I've had in years. We will definitely be back.......often!“

I had the best conversation with her while she cooked up my order. The food was delicious, deeply nostalgic, and took me right back to growing up. In a time when inflation is high and the cost of everything keeps going up, it’s hard to put a price on what Ramonda offers. The quality and consistency are top-notch, but it’s her genuine warmth and the real connections she builds with her customers that make this spot so special.

“The egg rolls were really good and fulfilling with each sauce/condiment and those fries! The chicken one was buffalo-less 😂, but surprisingly, it was the best. I’m Haitian and tasted a hint of the Haitian fusion in the chicken lol.
The fries though 😅 extremely good, even after 30 mins to an hour when they weren’t fresh anymore and we had some left over.
The service was great as well. The guy up front was dope and cool and conversed with me even though the young lady was the one helping me. He still acknowledged me as a customer, which I appreciated.

“The Manager was extremely nice and helpful in helping us order our food due it to being our first going to Miami grill. He was patient in all the questions we had. He showed amazing customer service and professionalism. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone.“

“I ordered the wings and fries and they were burnt. I took them back complain to the cashier about it. They replaced them with more old wings that have been sitting there for a while. The food is not fresh. I do not recommend go to another Charlie.“
