Food is good. Fine with eating in the restaurant but wouldn’t get takeout if they continue to use black plastic. Black plastic is made from recycled electronics and is contaminated by flame retardants even if food grade. You guys used to use better containers with aluminum foil and even used to vacuum seal stuff

Disappointing. Food is so-so, but the service is bad. For a Korean BBQ place with this price tag, it is unreasonable to have customers cook and cut meat themselves. When we asked for help to cut one of the more difficult one, the waiter just flat out refused. “We don’t do it because we are busy.” Crazy. Not worth the 40mins wait at all.

Excellent Korean food by actual Korean people. I have been and dined at many Korean restaurant. Gabose is up there with the best. The special Korean BBQ corner is also very good and has very attentive servers.

A casual Monday out turned into an unexpected $200 bill for a meal that was a shadow of what this place used to be. We chose the BBQ section and were forced to order a minimum of two meats. We didn't mind the policy until the food actually arrived.
The Food: The #9 is a total rip-off—$40 for four small pieces of averagely marinated chicken thigh that you have to cook yourself. The $40 #1 boneless beef was equally pitiful; no seasoning and mediocre quality. Just nothing impressive here.
The Sides: Completely inedible. They tasted like they’d been sitting in bins for days. There are no special recipes here, just lazy execution. The Drinks: I ordered an iced green tea and was served a cup of cold water with a dry tea bag floating in it. That isn't how tea works. To top it off, the beers were mispriced on the menu at a ridiculous $11 each.
Service was slow, and our server clearly didn’t want to be there. The only saving grace was the potato pancake, but we still left hungry and had to cook a second dinner when we got home. Save your money.

Best KBBQ in Broward and it’s not even close! The quality of meat is superior to any of these all you can eat places. At this point we will no longer risk new KBBQ restaurants opening up bc the quality cannot compete with Gabose

We started our experience by waiting a long time for the table. Turns out people were hanging around talking. The owners were so thoughtful and continued to come to out after we were seated and apologized for our wait. Almost too apologetic. The last time one of the owners came by and treated us to a spicy tasty appetizer no cost needed. The food came out at lighting speed and the experience of cooking over charcoal was so much fun. The food was fresh, the food was all extremely delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough.
