Best food
I stumbled upon a hidden gem, Woodlands Express in Ft. Lauderdale, a small hole-in-the-wall brunch spot run by Chef Carlos, a Hispanic chef with a passion for South Indian cuisine. What struck me was that Carlos hadn't just learned to cook South Indian food - he had trained with chefs in India itself, and his love for the cuisine shone through in every dish.

Great food, lousy service!
I've been eating at Woodlands for years, on average, twice a month. The restaurant was under different management/ownership pre-Covid. Since the time ownership changed hands, I've eaten there twice and the service was lousy both times. Under the previous management/ownership, and with a packed house, the service was good and the staff was very friendly.
