“The young lady running this place has put her heart & soul into it. And, let me tell you Baby, the soul comes through & through. Stopped by for the first time the other day & brought in a small group of six. We all ordered & hoped the food would live up to our expectations. Not to worry, the food was beyond expectations. Real soulful country cooking. Great flavor. nice portions, fair pricing. Very clean & neat along with a pleasant disposition to boot! Food was served timely & was very hot. BTW, if you get there, and you should, be sure to finish up with the peach cobbler. Just terrific. It's a bit of a tough find right now with construction of the street in front of the establishment, but the work is worth the experience. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.“
“Soon as we entered we were greeted and told to sit wherever and the waitress came right over to get our order. The reason we ended up here was because the restaurant up the street (started with D) we waited to be seated almost 30 mins and they won’t even busy!“
“My husband and I are regular diners at Billy’s Cafe in Tavares. The food is good, the people that work there are great, the regulars all know each other, and it is our go to spot for breakfast. My favorites are the veggie omelet, the breakfast burrito special, and the apple roll ups with whipped cream (if you like apple pie, you’ll love these). There are plenty of other restaurants that are closer to where we live that we could go to, but we take a 30 minute drive each way to go to Billy’s because of the excellent food and service.“
“Food was great, sever was nice, the only thing is, I left something there by accident, called and ask if the server would call me back about it, this was Saturday morning, still no phone call. I know it's my fault, but you think common courtesy would be nice. Now I'm forced to call back.“
“It was fast, good, and welcoming. We came with our 8 month old and asked for a high chair and everything happened smoothly. A lot of restaurants put family’s in corners in the back and I appreciated that not happening.Only gave 4 stars cause I never got a refill and waited for the check a bit. “
“The hash bowls are really good. And so are the supreme cold coffees, like dessert in a cup. They got us in and out quickly. They did mix up the eggs on the our two bowls, but we ate it anyway. The prices are really good and the portions are just right.“
“What a hidden gem!!! Tucked away in a strip of shops, on a side street, it's a cute diner!! Everyone was friendly!!!! We were greeted at the door and seated promptly. Our server, Sarah, knew the menu, made recommendations and was very sweet. We didn't wait long for our hot, delicious breakfast!! Everything was perfect!! The eggs were cooked properly and the sourdough toast was yummy! Sarah also made sure we knew that lunch is fabulous too. “One of the best breakfast places I have eaten down here in The Villages. I am very fussy about my breakfast, and it was absolutely excellent. The servers were friendly with a smile. Prices were great. You cannot beat this place if I could give it a 10 I would. Kenneth was our server met us with a smile and every time he walked by he had a smile. He was training a young lady who did the same thing excellent personalities. I got to meet the manager. He came to our table. His name was Konata he was another great personality for this place our whole experience for my wife and I was just fantastic.“
“I had a Tmobile Tuesday promotion for pancakes and the app wasn't working. The manager (not sure of her name- Brunette) was very kind, patient, and efficient. She worked with me to resolve my issue, got my meal prepared, was very welcoming, and provided great customer service. Thank you for your help and I appreciate you making my morning !“
“Wonderful quaint restaurant to go to. Found by accident after failing to get in at Denny's. I'm do glad I couldn't get in st Denny's cause I never would have found this place. The staff is super friendly and entertaining. Atmosphere is awsome. It's a popular place from what I can see and having been there I know why. I will definitely return. To much food at a reasonable price“
