City star family diner

The food was very salty paid extra for biscuits and gravy that I couldn’t eat because the taste was bad. The server was prompt, but very dismissive in telling her about how the food tasted. Would never come here again.

This place isnt going to cut it anymore...

Went for Mothers day my granddaughter plate was chipped silverware dirty place was not clean

I watch way too much Ramsay’s kitchen nightmares as I went to city star diner today for a work lunch and the place was dirty, it smelled bad an my shoes stuck to the floor. Went to the bathroom an it was not clean a smelled awful… The server acted as if we were putting her out, not friendly, did not keep up with refilling drinks, and trying to take peoples plates before we’re not finished eating…I’ve never been to this place except for today an I will not be back.. Like I said I watch way too much Ramsey but when your shoes stick to the floor you have to wonder how clean the kitchen is!!

Especially the chili is good.

Wow this place had gone downhill. The drinks tasted like sanitizer, the food was cold and waited over 10 min for the waitress to come back to our table. We will definitely never come back again. Better off going to McDonalds next door.on a positive note the menus are nice and new lol.

I had the openface beef with mashed potatoes and gravy. It looked like I got the last bit of mash and of the gravy from the day before. It looked really old. The gravy was extremely salty. I'm sure that it isn't always like that but it definitely was that day! Besides that it was a nice casual place to eat. The service was great!

We enjoy coming here for breakfast. The food is always good, reasonably priced and the servers are always very friendly.

It was really a little too warm in the restaurant. The server was prompt and pleasant. The omelette and home fries were pretty good. Could have been brought out a little quicker as it was just warm when it arrived to the table. Not hot. And I just did not care for the cake like biscuits they use in the biscuits and gravy.

I will probably visit again just to try other menu options.

Ordered a fried medium well onion, mushroom burger. Took 30 minutes to get and it was well done. I don't usually complain but my wife's lunch was different but the same results. Everything was well over-cooked. Very disappointed to the point we will never go back.

Ordered a chicken cordon Bleu sandwich. First it took 1/2 hour to cook it and I couldn't cut it with a steak knife. It was so over cooked. Offered to recook it but would not comp me for my meal. I am 74 years old and have NEVER sent anything back. Very disappointed in the cook. Service was good it wasn't her fault. Will never go back.

Server was terrific, so was the food. Very Cozy atmosphere. Keri was outstanding !!!!!!

Came in for breakfast.
Except for the loudest people I have ever heard.
Trying to have a nice quiet breakfast and all you can hear is this lady talking as loud as she could .
I'm sure this doesn't happen all the time but being it was our first time there and didn't make a good impression
