First visit, there were several subjects loitering on front stoop- made me feel unsafe prior to entering- waited for a second customer to walk in with! Store visually is nothing to look at- but when you get inside and see the humongous selection it’s a bit overwhelming! Apple fritter as big as your head! Massive selection of donuts- which very good and fresh! Would visit again-

Needed donuts for the Incredible nurses in central Florida @ the village’s hospital taking care of my pops “shout out 3rd floor” .. one of great one’s suggestion was the donut King .. Cool little place that does donuts only and does them right !
I ordered two dozen donuts for 6:30 AM the next day, for a work meeting. I arrived at Donut King of Leesburg the next morning promptly at 6:30AM. The rude lady at the counter gave me a dirty look and told me the donuts weren’t ready. She then chastised me for not specifying that it was 6:30 AM and not PM. Then proceeds to take less than a minute to gather all my assorted donuts from the display case, obviously from the night before. Apparently she didn’t want to work that morning, and wanted to take it out on someone: me the customer, INSTEAD of the employee who originally wrote the order down. As if it’s typical for people to eat donuts for dinner lol. This is my hometown, and I own a home blocks away from this business. It was my first and last time getting donuts from this establishment. Your negative attitude just cost you money. Treat people with respect, and you will get the same in return.

Best donuts around. They’ve expanded their selection recently and they have the best variety. It’s rare to find a place that offers so many options and executes each recipe so well. Maple bacon is my personal favorite, but I haven’t had one that I haven’t liked yet.
Parking: It’s a small area, so be prepared to park very close to the next car and it can be difficult to get into and leave if someone is also trying to enter or exit at the same time. There is more parking behind the building, but it is unpaved and a little sketchy.

Good gosh, I can get in trouble with this place so close to home! This was our second "dozen" from DK and they were just as terrific as the first. Holy cow, the donuts are delicious and not too heavy. We'll be back (once the wife lifts my ban from the place).

The girl at the counter is single handedly one of the rudest people you could employee
The donut king in Minneola has a lot better staff and they print receipts everytime. Without a attitude like the leesburg store
