We came in the end of the day right before Thanksgiving. So most of the deserts were already gone. So I can't speak about the donuts or cheesecake that we had hoped for. But Steve made us some sandwiches and entertained my kids with cool colored glasses for the lemonade. And for a finale he served some *amazing* handmade ice cream that was just delicious.
Love this place!!! It’s like walking into my mother's kitchen back in the 50s!!!When you walk in you hear a voice welcoming you. Your eyes follow the voice and see an older man sitting in a wheelchair at a table near the kitchen.You get to pick where you sit. You are then greeted by the young waitress.Then you look at the menu. The prices are very reasonable.The menu includes many items that sound familiar but a bit different than other restaurants. It was mid afternoon....
Came in for breakfast off a recommendation since we are from out of town. The gentleman that was running the place was quick to seat us and get our order going as we had a meeting to attend.Food was well in line with what is expected from a small breakfast shop. Will gladly visit again if in the area.
