I had these people I now call friends to my house party that served about 50 people. Everything was over and beyond expectations. I have never had better brisket or ribs ever. Everything is from scratch, and cooked to perfection. Their hospitality and enthusiasm when serving people was heartwarming to watch! You will never go wrong using iq 225 bbq when catering your parties. I will entertain with them again.

I made the mistake of paying $17+ for a pulled pork sandwich with no sides. What was I thinking? When the young man handed me the container and I opened it up, there wasn't even enough pork to fill the roll. I expressed my disappointment and it looked like they added a little more. Still was not feeling like this was $17 worth. I have never paid that much for a pulled pork sandwich, I expected a generous portion not the bare minimum I received. Nobody forced me, I guess I was blinded by hunger. The meat, I really can't speak to it's flavor because it was smothered with so much sauce, that was all I could taste. I can say it wasn't very tender. After, I visited other vendors at the event, they charged between $5-$10 for pork sandwichs and the one that was $10 came with a side. I really had buyers remorse especially after getting better quality and value from those other vendors.

This review is way past due! When I tell you the food is amazing I mean a whole tastebud changing experience! Mr. Simmy was great. He was kind, generous, and you can tell he really loves what he does because his food proves it. I had the brisket Mac and Cheese and ended up licking the plate! The sauces are all phenomenal. Can’t wait for my next plate, matter of fact, I’m calling in an order right now! Thank you Mr. Simmy!

Absolutely delicious food with flavor…just the right amount! I had a broken wrist in a cast and I was able to eat the bone in chicken with 1 hand b/c it was so tender it fell off the bone. I had Mac n cheese and green beans and my fiancé had the baked beans. Owner is a pretty cool guy too! I’d definitely recommend if you see their food truck around!!

Tried their brisket and mac and cheese at a driveway party this weekend. Best ever!!
We had our a hundred years in counting event, catered by IQ BBQ 225, and it was amazing. We had pulled chicken pulled pork, macaroni and cheese and coleslaw. The barbecue sauces he came with were so good. My favorite menu items were the pulled pork tested with every barbecue sauce and all hit out the park home runs. And those baked beans ohh, my goodness, how good those baked beans were.

Came from Clermont with my boyfriend for the best brisket I’ve had in Lake County. Service and Food was on point. Definitely recommend the brisket and green beans. Also you must try the smoked ribs had so much meat. Most definitely will be back!
