Cozy good food made simple like homemade
I love going as often as I can, they are a small cozy cafe, they have great food, great people. I highly recommend. Found this place last year and I've loved it since. Their hours are a little difficult for my schedule but, it's ran by about 3 people so I understand.
Food was great. Might have added a few more crackers (only had three) and more cheese (two tiny slices) and maybe one or two more grape tomatoes (3). Maybe add a few grapes could be added (0). Chicken salad and potato salad were yummy. Square of cranberry was exactly like my grandma's. Delicious and best part of the meal. All on a bed of lettuce. Ellen's Cafe on 3rd has moved and changed names to Ellen's cafe, with a new address at 411 West Main St., Leesburg, Fl and phone number (352) 460-5047. This location is bright and cheerful. The food is as great as ever. Food was great, with homemade soups and chicken salad being the best. The Chicken Salad plate is amazing. Big servings and a friendly environment. Some great sides to choose from, all homemade. The chicken salad and potato salad were yummy. The square of cranberry was delicious and the best part of the meal. Overall very good, just a little shy on the complimenting snack foods. Very nice staff, just not extremely efficient.
