Lighthouse Thai Sushi

Our favorite place to eat in Pompano Beach. We eat here once a week. Great staff and quick service, along with delicious food options for vegans.

I’ve been coming here with my husband for over a year, and every visit reminds me why we keep returning. Peter is genuinely one of the warmest and most welcoming people you’ll ever meet. The service is always quick, and the staff pays close attention without ever feeling intrusive.

What makes this place special is that both the sushi *and* the Thai dishes are consistently excellent—something you don’t find often. I’m usually pretty selective when it comes to sushi and Thai, but everything I’ve tried has been spot-on. The sushi rice is prepared correctly, the fish is always incredibly fresh, and the flavors are balanced perfectly. I’ve loved the pad Thai, the drunken noodles, and their Tom Kha soup—it’s rich, comforting, and seasoned just right.

They even offer homemade spices on the side, which add such a nice touch. Overall, it’s become one of our favorite spots, and I always leave happy.

I went 45 minutes before close I was rushed out the server asked me to tip her more then what I was giving her it was 20 dollars I think 20

Came to this restaurant for the first time and it really surprised me! The food was delicious — especially the spicy tuna crispy rice, one of the best I’ve ever had. I also tried the JB tempura roll and the crunchy roll, both were excellent. The only downside was the service; the waiters didn’t seem very friendly and rarely smiled. Still, the food definitely makes it worth a visit.

I always come to this restaurant and it is delightful. The food is wonderful and the personal is professional and kind. I recommend them.

Have not done here in person, but have now ordered from here multiple times on Uber eats. This has become our go to for South Florida sushi Thai and Asian food in general. They don’t seem to have a lot of reviews right now so I wanted to post this just to give them some more notoriety because this is the best sushi we’ve had since we moved here. The food is fresh high-quality and exceeds our expectations now every time we’ve ordered from here. On top of that, the prices are in line with customer expectations. Everything is good here

Took my spouse and parents out to this restaurant on the day before Father’s Day in June 2025. Food was tasty, service was prompt and strong A/C inside. Ordered two meals of pad thai chicken, basil fried rice and the lighthouse combo that had shrimp, beef and chicken. Noticed that a couple corners of the table was slightly dirty though and near the end something burned but it dissipated quickly.

This is my favorite sushi place in town, love the staff as much as the food. If you want the best comfort food ever, order the duck soup!
