I’m from Texas so maybe I have high expectations when it comes to bbq. I’ve been passing this place for quite some time and decided to stop. It smelled amazing. I ordered the rib plate which came with two sides. The macaroni and cheese was disappointing, I trashed it. I wish I could’ve experienced what some of the other reviews stated about the Mac & cheese, but for me it was unseasoned and the pasta was overcooked. Imagine someone overcooking pasta and it tasting like water and then they add cheese. It was horrible. The baked beans were OK, However, they were really sweet and it almost taste like cinnamon or nutmeg or something similar is in it. I will say the ribs were the highlight of the show. The meat was tender, falling off the bone and smoked well. I would try this place again, but different side dishes next time.

I honestly would give more stars if I could! When I tell you this is the most amazing business with the absolute sweetest owner, I mean it! The food is top tier!!!!! I’ve never had better bbq. The meat is so tender and has the BEST flavor, the Mac n cheese don’t even get me started, the collard greens are fire! Literally everything here is delicious. The owner Ron goes above and beyond to make his customers happy. I used him to cater my wedding and will be using him from now on when I need a caterer! If you’re looking for the right place, THIS IS IT! Does not get any better I promise you!

Tried Ronnie Ron’s a week ago with my fiance and got the 2 meat 2 side combo ribs were amazingly fall off the bone and chicken was very moist and delicious the Cole slaw and Mac and cheese sides were almost as good as the main course itself best food me and my fiance have had will definitely have to get him his own lol

Finally, some great BBQ that's not some typical chain bs. I got the sampler for lunch (as recommended) it hit the spot and was a generous perfect portion!
• The ribs were perfectly charcoaled, seasoned and falling off the bone. • The chicken was juicy and well smoked. • The pulled pork was hot and moist (perfect with their BBQ Sauce). • And the sausage after I bit into it was oozing with flavor and had a greatly smoked exterior skin! • Baked beans were full of smoky flavor and had a hint of cinnamon/sugar on the back end. • The potato salad was not your typical. It seemed fresh made with herbs, was creamy and chopped right for a perfect bite!
* Also, as a picky/Hard to please BBQ Sauce guy. The BBQ Sauce was exactly what real Sauce made with love & passion should taste like. I typically only prefer a traditional yellow mustard based and a Spicy BBQ Sauce. They had both! And they were both done right ✅️
* Customer Service: was exceptional, they helped navigate me to the right meal, asked what accommodations i needed and informed me about their weekend exclusive items! Can't wait to try the Brisket, Oxtail, Beef Ribs and Seafood!

I stopped by Ronnie Ron’s BBQ for the first time this afternoon and MAN was I blown away!!!
This has the be some of the best BBQ in the entire Tampa Bay Area. Being from the south originally and having lived all over the country, I regularly sample all types of BBQ. Let me tell you…. They really have something special here! Each bite of my sausage and chicken was so tender, tasty and falling off the bone. The sides were perfectly made also. There wasn’t a single bite of my meal that wasn’t full of delicious flavor. Each of these sauces (regular and spicy) had a unique flavor profile that complimented the smokiness of the meat beautifully.
This local gem is conveniently located in the Fishhawk area on the corner of Boyette and Lithia Pinecrest right in the front of the liquor store parking lot.
All of the staff here was extremely polite and made it a memorable first experience for me. It’s no wonder they’ve been here for 4 years already. Keep up all the good work and making some of the most delicious BBQ that the TBA has to offer!!!

Amazing BBQ!! It's very rare to go somewhere and not only enjoy the main coarse (the meat), but all of the sides as well! They were super friendly and gave us samples to help us decide on the sides. We had two meals, one with the smoked chicken with cole slaw and baked beans, and the other was pulled pork with greens and mac and cheese. They also gave a side of the potato salad. This was some of the best BBQ I've ever had, and all the sides were delicious!!
