What a hidden gem in LongBeach! We came in about 30 minutes before closing and were greeted with the warmest smiles and genuine hospitality. Even that close to closing time, the service was attentive, welcoming, and never rushed.

The food exceeded expectations — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The French toast is an absolute must-try: fluffy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Everything we ordered hit the spot, and it felt like the perfect comfort meal to end the day.

The cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food make this place a standout. We’ll definitely be coming back — highly recommend if you’re in the area!

This restaurant looks like a little hole in the wall but it was great food. We set ourself and the waitress came over to get our order. She was nice but seemed to hatr her job if that makes sense. The atmosphere was terrible. It needs a major rehab and just updated. The food though, you can't get much better honestly. We would definitely eat here again. Good home cooked meals.

OMG!!! This was THE BEST!! The biscuits and gravy had 3” biscuits that literally melted in your mouth! On the day we were there, they had made coconut/pecan muffins that were to die for! They make various ones so make sure and check!! Definitely the best place EVER!

Outstanding breakfast on Longboat Key! Ordered the Biscuits and Gravy and the Biscuits Benedict.. the portions are huge! And they taste as good as they look .. fresh homemade biscuits topped with super tasty gravy.. add crispy home fries and poached eggs and you get a very tasty twist on regular eggs Benedict. What a great meal!

My first visit was last friday, recommended by local friends. Cute little diner. Biscuits and gravy the best. Must add onions to your homefries! Sonya was absolutely the best service

My experience started off nice until we wanted a new order. Then it went downhill. Waitress got angry. And was very rude. Even though I played paid for the plate that my daughter didn't want, she was rude and very condescending. She was talking about us to other customers saying we were the Worst. Not to Mention we were the only minorities in the Restaurant me being African American, my husband being Spanish. My daughter's Spanish and her boyfriend from Trinidad. I wanted to check. She was very short patient. I wanted out. I didn't feel comfortable at all. I thought the food was ok, no complaints there. It sucks to have to come across this even today. Our bill was $109.00 for 4 people. Should have went to Denny's.

So glad we stopped here! I got the Mexican Fritatta and loved it. Very well season and a big proportion. The staff were very casual which I enjoyed. It gave me a homey/cozy feel. They also have a large hot sauce collection that includes locally made products and as a small business owner I am happy to see they support others. I'll definetly come again ❣️

We go down to LBK every year and wondered why we had never tried this 4.5 star restaurant. I prefer not leaving a bad review, but hopefully the owners will see this and make some adjustments and people looking to go to a good local restaurant will be forewarned. However, worst breakfast ever! The veggie’s in my omelette were uncooked (nothing worse than raw onions and raw green peppers), which gave me indigestion later on & the eggs were overcooked. My wife’s home fries tasted like they were cooked two days ago and warmed over. Her omelette was basically like mine; overcooked eggs, undercooked mushrooms, spinach and dried out overcooked bacon. It was like they put the eggs on then put in the raw veggie’s as an afterthought. The toast tasted like it was delivered four days ago. The granddaughter asked for a humongous thick pancake; it was overcooked, thin and not humongous. The coffee tasted like bland warmed over black water, no flavor. Service was not friendly. With the tip it was close to $70. That’s over $20/person for a horrible breakfast!
