We go down to LBK every year and wondered why we had never tried this 4.5 star restaurant. I prefer not leaving a bad review, but hopefully the owners will see this and make some adjustments and people looking to go to a good local restaurant will be forewarned. However, worst breakfast ever! The veggie’s in my omelette were uncooked (nothing worse than raw onions and raw green peppers), which gave me indigestion later on & the eggs were overcooked. My wife’s home fries tasted like they were cooked two days ago and warmed over. Her omelette was basically like mine; overcooked eggs, undercooked mushrooms, spinach and dried out overcooked bacon. It was like they put the eggs on then put in the raw veggie’s as an afterthought. The toast tasted like it was delivered four days ago. The granddaughter asked for a humongous thick pancake; it was overcooked, thin and not humongous. The coffee tasted like bland warmed over black water, no flavor. Service was not friendly. With the tip it was close to $70. That’s over $20/person for a horrible breakfast!

I was looking forward to trying this place but I was a little disappointed to say the least. My omelette was kind of dry with minimal fillings and the home fries were burnt. English muffin was good but that was just placed in a toaster.
Service was great but there were only two other tables here other than us.
I thought the place was clean and I liked the atmosphere. Disappointed that there are no pancakes or waffles after 11:00. Why is that?

Service was great. Food prepared promptly. Follow-up excellent. Especially impressive given how busy they were. Ordered the Greek omelet and the "Popeye."
