Every time we visit family in Longboat Key we always make it a priority to make a reservation here. Located perfectly right on the water, you are able to dine al fresco and pull your boat up if you’d like. The menu is fabulous, but I wish the cocktails were a bit stronger. I love ordering the Miso Black Grouper, Kung Pao Calamari, Tuna Tartar and Diner Meatloaf. If you don’t like fish, definitely try the meatloaf! One of the best, higher end feeling restaurants on LBK.

Great setup and beautiful atmosphere but server staff showed no enthusiasm and was lacking attention to detail. Initial greeting was an impersonal drive by "I'll be back" eventually followed by a cold welcome and drink orders. Water was poured for all with little care for all the splashing about that occurred as she expedited the pours instead of caring for keeping the water in the glass instead of about the table. (same occurred when draft beer set as the glass tipped a couple ounces to the table.
Food was great. Second drink requested "when dinner served" arrived about 3/4 into completion of the meal.
Check presented with no real sense of appreciation.
Note to management: servers should not be cleaning tables while serving... unprofessional and unsanitary. Oh, did I say "cleaning"? I meant "wiping the table debris to the floor and seats".

Chris B. Was absolutely amazing! We have been here for every celebration, from promotions to anniversaries, and never had this good of service. Service has always been TOP NOTCH and run like a well oiled machine, but Chris really took it over the top. After this horrible hurricane season and everything we have all been through, it was so nice to feel like family and treated so well . This was just a huge reminder of why we live here and why we love this town. Chris really brought it home, and handled everything with a smiling face, and professionalism at the same time. Great place for waterfront dining. We had a lovely evening with friends. Our waitress was very attentive and sweet. I would highly recommend this spot!!
I took my grandmother to Shore in Longboat Key for her birthday, hoping for a special experience. We were disappointed when they declined our request for a small complimentary dessert with a candle to maker feel special and sing a birthday song. something most restaurants in town offer to celebrate. It’s a small touch, but it makes a big difference, and we left feeling let down.

Stopped into The Shore at Lonboat for a bite and was pleasantly surprised to see everything back to normal. Corina, (spelled with a C) the bartender, was incredibly friendly and provided top-notch service. The calamari and fish tacos were both superb—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Shore remains a go-to for lunch or dinner, and I’m grateful they’re open. Thanks for the great service and fantastic food!
We've been to The Shore numerous times, each time hoping we'll be dazzled by the food, but often leaving underwhelmed. Last night, the food quality was the worse we've had. My fish was barely cooked to the point where I had to send it back to the kitchen twice. My husband's meal was exceedingly bland. The restaurant is beautiful and the views are second to none. The surroundings are not enough, though, to make up for the lackluster food. Sadly, we'll be hard-pressed to come back.

Absolutely amazing first time here. Staff was friendly. Very nice restaurant. The view is just perfect right on the water. The food was delicious. They just opened back up after the hurricane, so the menu was limited, I'm definitely coming back to see what else they offer. Even got to walk on the pier after supper. Highly recommend this place.
