I give up. I don't care how pretty you're a restaurant is, if you don't have a good chef you don't have a good restaurant. I have tried twice now so order scallops and twice I have pleaded with the server to make sure the chef knows to clean my scallops so I'm not eating sand! Both times my expensive scallop dinner was inedible due to sand and in the scallops. W t h really! The first time I sent it back and didn't order a replacement The second time I should have known better I ordered them again because it is my absolute favorite seafood. But because somebody else was buying, I didn't want to fuss So I didn't send them back. I just left them on the plate. Pretty much done with the shore if they can't do a simple thing like cook a scallop and clean it properly.

Had dinner on my birthday at Shore! Food was great, ambiance overlooking the water was so nice and relaxing. I had the Shrimp and Scallops over risotto, was delicious. I will definitely be back.

Best food of the 10 restaurants we did this week. Every year we spend a week between AMI and LBK. We always agree Shore is the best.

Amazing setting, very good food with excellent flavors. Strong but delicious cocktails. Free valet parking and very close to a sensational public beach on the Gulf side. Visited the restaurant on a lark and was a perfect way to end the day in Sarasota… we got the calamari and crab cake to start, followed by the grouper and snapper… oh and the truffle fries. Service was unrushed and friendly. Highly recommend!

So, we made a last minute decision to come in tonight and definitely glad we did. We decided to get a couple of appetizers and one entree to share and was pleasantly surprised at the size of the small plates. Glad we ordered light dishes so we had room to enjoy the branzino. Alexa took good care of us and the wife was happy with the expresso martini... Happy wife, happy meal :)

This restaurant is best enjoyed when you can be seated on the patio overlooking the water. Food is very good, but nothing spectacular.

Celebrated my anniversary here. Wow. What an experience! Nevada and Monica the managers made sure I was greeted with a warm anniversary welcome and their personal touches were heartwarming. Jerell, our server gave us a fantastic experience and Cannan was very kind and caring too! Loved our entrees, apps and drinks! Thai gin martini, meat and cheese board and the featured rib eye were all fantastic. You can’t beat the setting either. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful experience here last night. It was my wife and I and our 2 year old daughter. They sat us right by the window where we were able to see some dolphins swimming out in the water. Nobody was judgmental about us having our young child in this nice restaurant.
Our waiter, Steven, was probably the most attentive waiter we have ever had. He was thoughtful about everything, checked on us many times to make sure we had everything we needed and our daughter was good. He really seemed to care and asked questions about where we were from. He also made sure my steak was cooked perfectly and seemed ready to take it back in an instant if it wasn’t cooked well.
I did the surf and turf and my wife ordered the shrimp and scallops risotto. Both were excellent, my ribeye was one of the best I have ever had. The lobster and crab Cobb salad was good but did not blow me away. Just seemed like something everyone was ordering.
Overall phenomenal experience and would 100% go back, restaurant is beautiful, views were gorgeous, food was excellent, and Steven was fantastic!

We popped into Shore for a quick sunset dinner & had a lovely time. To start, we had the tuna tartare which was so flavorful and fresh. For our mains, we had the lobster, shrimp and crab Cobb salad (delicious, so fresh and quite filling!), the som tam colossal crab salad, and the shrimp & scallop risotto. No complaints, we loved our meals and left feeling very full and content! Recommend booking a reservation in advance, not a place you can necessarily walk into expecting to get a table.

For some reason they reduced the size of the scallop and prawn risotto by half...
In the past they had three scallops now they have a half half and half cut by 50% and they had three prawns now they have two also the problems are smaller. I guess they figured they couldn't raise the price because it's already very expensive and I believe it is $28 for the risotto but it's definitely not worth two prawns and one and a half scallops. It's a shame.. although I will say the atmosphere is great, beautiful views. The appetizers, and lunch are much better I believe
