I love this place but lately it seems like the portions are so small. At least charge more and give a decent amount of food. I ordered the snapper today, I was still hungry so I ordered an extra side of salmon. Portion size was comical.

The experience was excellent. We had two appetizers (ceviche & calamari) and both were incredibly fresh & flavorful. My wife had the Grouper & I had the filet mignon. Again, both were phenomenal. We finished off with the key lime pie & cheesecake for dessert. Our server (Deijah?) was polite, cheerful & had the correct amount of attentiveness. The view overlooking the water is icing on the cake, as they say!
This was my second time dining at The Shore. The atmosphere and cocktails are incredible! Unfortunately, the salmon was a forgettable entree. As someone who loves peppercorn, I jumped at the opportunity to try peppercorn crusted salmon. The crust was so over the top all you can taste was peppercorn. The fish was cooked to perfection, but the crust left more to be desired. Unfortunately, they were also down to 2 scallops for the night so we were unable to switch out shrimp for scallops, but the server was nice to throw in an additional side. She was amazing! All in all, a great atmosphere and good experience. The price tag of the salmon just did not live up to my expectations from my first experience.

We recently had dinner here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Favorites were the fried chicken, crab cake and the truffles Mac & cheese (the best I've ever had!). The service was good. Unless you can find a parking spot on the street, valet appeared to be the ony parking option. We left happy!

You know things are bad when your only positives are the servers (not hostess) were nice and the valet parking was spot on. Fooled me twice in a row but will NOT happen a third time. Better alternatives: Ocean Prime for upscale seafood. Dry Dock for great seafood and a way better value proposition. On the inter coastal as well. Dry Dock has been nationally recognized St Regis Hotel for both dining and drinks. Outstanding property which is far more upscale but less pretentious. Another plus is they are on the ocean with spectacular tiki hut bars on the ocean. Mar Vista Dockside is even a better alternative but is admittedly aiming for a different vibe.

Chris (our waiter) did a great job on advising us on our drinks and the main courses. He was very friendly, attentive and yet professional. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner a memorable experience.

Our new favorite restaurant! All four of us enjoyed our meal. And Chris was very helpful helping a picky eater make a selection. He was also very understanding and accommodating for another of us with diet restrictions. We were early for our reservation and they were still able to seat us right away and with a great view as requested. Overall great experience!
