We love Venturas! Their gnocchi is amazing as well as veal cannelloni! It's easy to make a reservation and the waitresses are super sweet!

Wish we lived closer to come all the time!! Julie provided the best service! The owners came to the table and made us feel like family! Food was exceptional! Went for my birthday and it truly felt llle a special evening! We had the best table too. With a lovely view! Had the calamari, bruschetta, chicken parm, linguine and calls, chicken piccata, veal, grouper, ravioli. Kids chicken and meatballs… we had a big group and everyone was more than happy with their meal!

This was our second time here. It was much better this time. I had the cannelloni and my husband had lasagna. We also split a greek salad. The food was all good and we had a much better experience than we had on our first visit.

We had a party of 16, and from start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. Terri, our waitress, was phenomenal—warm, attentive, and effortlessly handled our large group with grace and a big smile. A huge thank you as well to Deb Murphy, who was instrumental in helping us plan the evening and select the perfect menu. The food was on time, hot, and beautifully prepared. Every dish was delicious, and the Chicken Parmesan was an overwhelming favorite at our table. The staff serving the food were friendly and engaging, truly making us feel like part of the Ventura's family. The drinks were flowing, and we were even able to bring in a special wine meaningful to our family with just a small corkage fee—such a thoughtful accommodation. We had more than enough food to take home and enjoy for days after, which was an added bonus. Ventura's made this milestone event so memorable, and we are incredibly grateful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for fantastic food, exceptional service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere!

Normally, we get Italian dinners from the menu, but this time we tried a specialty Pizza. It was wonderful! It is named the Sarasota, and it was layered with San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, black olives, basil pesto

First time at Ventura's Kitchen and it will not be the last. The restaurant as one approaches is unimpressive looking, but once we got inside, it was a whole different story! Beautiful and comfortable decor and a wonderful water view with trees beyond. The food, from wine to appetizer to entree was exceptional. My partner is a lifelong searcher for restaurants with good spaghetti bolognese/meatball dishes. He says that Ventura's version is so good, it has supplanted his previous favorite which has stood since we moved to Bradenton a year ago. We will be returning in the not too distant future to try the pizza, which looks scrumptious and just how we like it.

We love this restaurant. Close enough to walk to, reservations were easy to make, staff is friendly and attentive, food is always delicious, good portion size, fresh tasty salad and bread served with entree. Dinner tonight was no exception. Pizzas are amazing too.

Wrong pizza was delivered to our table and they said it would be an hour to make a new one. Food is always fantastic but need help with service.

Always a wonderful meal and great service, enjoy seating at the bar, inside table or outside. Taking reservations is a plus!

We had reservations at 5:30p. The restaurant was half full.There were 5 of us-4 got served their meals in a reasonable time but the 5th got his pizza over 40 minutes after everyone else was served. The worst part was while the owners apologized they said there wasn’t anything we can do to correct this. There answer was “this is lent”. We have lived on Longboat for 7 years & never had this happen at any other restaurant. We will not be back.

Interior is nice. Women’s bathroom is poorly set up. The large stall is hard to lock and it doesn’t close completely. There was a bit of a gap at the bottom of the door. We ordered one pizza and it took about 45 minutes to receive our food. The server barely checked on us and failed to ask us how everything was. Very disappointing. Looks promising but the food and overall experience were mediocre.

Salad was under seasoned. Eggplant Rolatini mushy like it had been sitting a while in sauce pizza was fine. Bread was good

We had a great dinner. Service was excellent and so was our dinner. Devon did a great job as our server. We'll be back!

So many fabulous menu items makes the choice quite a challenge. The NY style pizza brings me right back to my NJ days. The meatballs are to die for, the eggplant rollatini is one of my favorites, and the marinara is just like Grandma's! Service is always top notch and they make you feel like family!
