Yesterday we experienced The Back Porch fir our first time. This is a casual sports bar restaurant with televisions playing sports throughout the dining room and bar. We ordered The Truck Stop Burger ($15) with bacon, grilled onion, fries on the burger and cheese with a side of French fries, Steak & Potatoes ($26) with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli and a Kids Meal ($10) with Mac n cheese, chocolate chip cookie, Tator tots and fruit. The burger itself didn’t have much flavor but the bacon on it was super salty. The steak was ok, the mashed potatoes were really tasty, the Mac n cheese was tasty and plentiful. The menu has quite a few offerings so there is probably something here for most people. Service was friendly and average.

Would say that back porch is not bad if you are looking for a place out with the family and watch some sports at the same time. However, the food came out really quick and surprised us as the rest of the service was painfully slow.We tried the jalapeno cheddar bites to start and they were great, while the jalapeno was a little undercooked they were still good. We then moved onto the main course where we all had something different. I had the big dipper, which as mentioned the food came out quick. The Au jus sauce that came with it had strong onion flavor for dipping which was pretty good. However, the horseradish alioli that was on the sandwich was too much and overpowered the rest of the flavors on the sandwich. The restrooms were not clean and you felt you needed to definitely sanitize your hands after leaving the restroom and prices were fairly high. Expect to pay at a minimum of about $20 a person. If you are having a soda with the meal, but don't expect refills on that drink in a timely manner. So pace yourself on the drink. Not bad overall, but nothing to rave about and certainly not a place that I would need to go to again.

I was disappointed when I arrived on Saturday at 12:45 and they were only serving brunch. I had viewed the web site, had my heart set on fish and chips from the lunch/dinner menu. There was no indication that there was a brunch only menu on Saturday morning. Loved sitting outside

We ate here while vacationing in Apopka. We're so glad we found it. The food was delicious and the prices are reasonable. I must commend the monitor. It was great. I wish there was a location in Indy.

We find ourselves returning to The Back Porch in Longwood time and again, and it’s easy to see why. This place checks all the boxes: scrumptious food, a warm, homelike atmosphere, and friendly, efficient service. Their loaded tots are a must-try—crispy, cheesy, and just downright delicious! This visit, we branched out to try the pot stickers, chicken & waffles, and shrimp tacos. Each dish was a hit, perfectly cooked and flavored. The chicken & waffles paired sweet and savory in a way that was both satisfying and innovative, while the shrimp tacos were a delightful burst of freshness and spice. The Back Porch has become a favorite spot for its consistent quality and the welcoming vibe that greets us each time.Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and an awesome time. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

I visited for the second time, this time just for drinks. But my first visit the food was pretty good too. The bartenders were on point with strong drinks ?
