Thanks to our friends suggesting this place for a unique dining experience we decided to find and locate the Bayou Kitchen & Lounge and were pleasantly surprised. We had a great time. The food was really delicious and portion sizes were great. Level 3 hurricane was actually a level one but other than that I will be back.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. A toddler was enjoying his time with his family and even started waving at us and dancing to the music.

My husband surprised me by bringing us here for lunch. I was a little concerned as I had never been, but he said they have great reviews. Man, they did not disappoint! The best chicken and waffles I have ever had! I was concerned when they didn’t serve it with any syrup, but one bite and you will find out why (I do not want to ruin the tastebud surprise!)
