Visited on a Sunday for brunch. Service was great, very quick and friendly. Food was amazing! Gumbo was the best I've ever eaten. Found this little gem while traveling through the area. Can't wait to visit again!
We stopped here on our way back home from our trip in Orlando. Listen….. this place is fire. The food is so good and you get a huge portion. On top of that it didn’t break our pockets. Their drinks looked really good but I didn’t order any only because I already was slightly hung over. Our server Tracy was the greatest. She was so helpful and patient with us. Her smile and energy made the experience the best. I give this place a 20/10. We only live 45 minutes away and will definitely be back soon!!!!! Definitely come here!!!!

The food is amazing 10/10 we drive from Saint Pete just to eat here no matter what day or time we go if it’s busy or slower the food is always amazing that’s so rare this place is a must try I had jambalaya, gumbo, and gator bites on this visit we have been several times trying new items each time.
Good food, good service, and different menus than what you find at Tibby's. Started with a Mardi Gras Bock from Abita ?with grilled oysters, salmon sandwich with spinach, Brie and Gouda cheese, and grilled salmon on abed of rice and corn. No draft brews, just cans and bottles, but the Abita's are a sold brew with the food. Ordered beignets for dessert, but the kitchen got "backed up," and it took a good 20 minutes for them to come out. So long we were getting ready to cancel the order. Overall, it is a nice alternative to Tibby's in the neighborhood.

Catering ReviewWe recently used The Bayou Kitchen for a large party of 75 people. They were EXCELLENT! First, the food was authentic New Orleans cuisine and it all tasted delicious. We had gumbo, jambalaya, red beans and rice, Cajun fried rice, Cajun meatballs, grits and Cajun sauce, mac 'n cheese, hush puppies, and beignets. Just the right amount of spicy. I had asked for just a little less heat for some guests. There was SO much food. Several of the guests remarked about how delicious everything was, including the ones raised in New Orleans. Eddie and his team also did a fantastic job of serving all of the food, picking up during the party, and cleaning up afterwards. Eddie was also very communicative before the party, very fair with pricing, very careful with preparing food for a seafood allergy, and overall a really nice guy and so easy to work with. I definitely recommend using them.

First time visiting Bayou Kitchen and I was impressed. We sat at the bar with Victoria who helped us pick a yummy cocktail with rye bourbon and peychaud’s bitters. For dinner we had crab cakes and cat fish e’touffe. Delicious and very authentic tasting. They also have whiskey and wine Wednesday so check them out. Great date night!

Don't sleep on this experience if you're a fan of Cajun food! The atmosphere was perfect with plenty of Louisiana-centric music, the servers were all attentive and very friendly, and the food was beyond top notch. I plan on going back and having everything on the menu! LEAVE SOME SPACE! You want the beignets! Better priced and better quality than other Cajun restaurants in the area. If you're split on a descion between Bayou and the other guy, let this be swing vote!
