Our server was a wonderful young man named Will who was attentive, kind, and interacted with everyone (so refreshing in this era)! He will be requested for our next visit. The food was once again terrific!! Baked wings and lamb chops were mouth watering. I can happily say my friends and I have finally found a new “our spot” in Gardens. “My wife and I had a wonderful experience when we visited the restaurant in Alton. The music was loud and we were going to leave but my wife decided to go speak with one of the managers to see if he could do anything about it because we have hearing problems. He immediately got the music turned down a little and then got us a seat within 5 minutes. The food was wonderful and Chris the GM kept checking with us that we were being taken care of. “Our group of 4 people went there last night and were immediately greeted by Gladys the owner to welcome us and seat us. While walking to our table the other diners commented that the food was great, so that set the tone for a terrific experience. We expected a noisy local Italian restaurant but were surprised to find that the upscale look of the dining room and the low background music playing was the preface to an excellent dinner. We started with a sautéed clams in a garlic sauce and it was fantastic. The included soup was homemade and delicious, my choice was the pasta faggioli, all the entrees were eye catching and my choice was a veal piccata style with pasta and the veal was tender and tasty. You didnt get just one server, the girls teamed up to make sure we didnt have to wait long for anything. Even the garlic style rolls that came quickly out before our appetizers looked homemade and were perfect. The desert choices were many but with a filling meal we chose one terrami sue and four forks and it ended the meal on a high note. Needless to say we will be coming back.“

“Loyal customers to D’angelos since we moved to PBG, for the last 4 years we’ve ordered pizza from here almost every Friday night.

Their pizza is ALWAYS good, they’re so consistent. We’ve never experienced a time where we were disappointed in our order. The pizza always comes hot and fresh.

Some of our favorites consists of a large pie with pepperoni and onion. Their Greek salad is to die for, I’m always like this is seriously the best Greek salad. We also love their chicken roll. Their garlic knots are good as well, make sure to ask for a side of marinara (they have a great sauce). They also have a great Oreo cheesecake!

The only thing my husband and I would recommend changing is getting some kind of system where it knows the costumers info like their address and name for people who consistently order delivery. Just would save some time on the phone for everybody! But besides that, we love our d’angelos! Best pizza in PBG! ? thank you for always making our Friday nights are go-to pizza nights!“

“Every single dish I’ve had here has been a 5. My go-to is the Ala Vodka, but I have had the pesto and most recently the Risotto and omg it’s delicious. I wish it wasn’t as crowded as it had been lately but the service is very quick which we love.“

“Nice small place limited seating inside and out in front of the store. Thats why it is called express. They have their own fountian soda no name brand. Large choice of slices available even grandmas pie which is rare to find. I wod recommend to stop in for a slice. Construction in the lot across from them is limiting parking.“

My favorite is eggplant Parmesan, and I have ordered it each time I visit. My wife loves chicken parm. We have never been disappointed. And the pizza is excellent !! Don't forget the cannoli.“
