“Whatever the time of day, you can go to old Dixie and find something great to eat. Recent updates really improved the atmosphere, and it’s clean and the staff is friendly and fast. You’d like to do takeout? Usually ready within 15 to 20 minutes, and well packaged. We picked up the chicken français the other night and it was so so good. You also get a side of salad and rolls and everything you need if you want to go to the beach with it or take it home. Great place.👍😊“

“I have never been disappointed in the pizza. Our office orders several times per month and always order the Veggie Special (love the fried eggplant on it!) and a large Cheese pie. Garlic knots are awesome, and their antipasto and other salads are extremely fresh and tasty. Their house dressing is refresing and light.“

“We are big fans! Our favorite restaurant in the PBG and Jupiter area. Everything we have had on the menu is excellent. We have brought friends and now they are "hooked". Love their bar are and if your lucky enough to get a table there, it's delightful! My only complaint is the acoustics. When restaurant is full it's very loud and hard to hear your guests.“

“Hands down, best restaurant in Jupiter! My husband and I consider ourselves foodies and so do our best friends who we took to Tavolena! We were all extremely impressed. My husband said it was the best Italian food he has had since we went to Italy 10 years ago!
The food is made in house and by scratch and it is obvious when you take the first bite. We ordered three appetizers, two entrees and three desserts and every single item was exceptional. Highly recommend the pear purses and zucchini blossoms - I could have had 3 servings of each. The gnocchi with truffle was to die for. The apple cake affogado was one of the best desserts I’ve ever tasted.
However not only was the food exceptional, the service was impeccable. I can’t remember the last time I wanted to tip above 20% because she was that good. My water cup was never empty which is a big deal to me. Our waitress and the other gentlemen were all passionate about the food and the service. They went above and beyond which you rarely see these days.
When we were looking at reviews, there were a few low ratings based on pricing which is really shameful. In my opinion, those should be removed as they are unfair. The prices are in their menu online so if you are a cheapo then don’t to a quality restaurant. We felt that the prices reflected the excellent quality of the food and experience and we would give Tavolena an even higher review if possible! We will definitely be back!“

“Had dinner there last night. First time back since the reopened with 2x the space. They also now have a full bar which is where we sat.

The food was great! We had the mozzarella of the day as an appetizer, which they say is for two but certainly good for four. It was absolutely fantastic. I had a stuffed pork chop and my wife had a pasta special. Everything was wonderful. They have a nice wine selection as well.

This place is a gem. Great food, great service, nice atmosphere. They are even open for lunch Monday through Friday.“

“I have to say this place rocks. If you are looking for authentic Italian food served by an authentic Italian family then this is the place. Service impeccable, people are fast friendly and so damn kind. Food was delicious and you taste the herbs and fresh tomatoes. My whole party was extremely happy and we were a party of 75! yes, 75!! “It was our anniversary tonight and our babysitter has the flu, so we ended up going out with 2 very small children and no reservation. We had a wonderful meal. We were seated right away on the patio. Our service was perfectly paced. The pizza and the a la vodka were delicious. My toddler barely left any tiramisu for the rest of us. We don't get to go out often and we really enjoyed ourselves tonight.“

“This is areally cool little place. The appetizers (mac and cheese bites and boom shrimp) we had were good and the steak sandwich and chicken and shrimp ceasar salad. “I am a frequent customer and a big fan of your cheesesteaks and fries. However, I wanted to share some feedback regarding a recent change in how pickup orders are packaged.

On my last two visits, my cold drink was placed in the same bag as my hot fries and cheesesteak. This resulted in the meal becoming room temperature. Who likes room temperature fries? When I mentioned this, the staff noted they were trained to package orders this way, likely to accommodate Uber drivers. Unfortunately, this significantly impacts the quality of the food.

Moving forward, could you please ensure that cold drinks are packaged separately from hot items? I would appreciate it if you could look into this to ensure the food stays hot for pickup customers.“
