An excellent shop with ice cream with actual flavor. I feel like most small ice cream places have interesting flavors with no taste, but not Astro. They had a pineapple upside down flavor that tasted just like the cake. The guava cream cheese is a staple, and maybe their best one. Check them out.

First time here and it did not disappoint. I tried the Ube with brownie ice cream and the cream cheese ice cream with guava. So good. Jo was amazing! Thank you for making my first experience a wonderful one. EXCELLENT customer service with a smile.

Great spot to bring younger kiddos to get a good portion sized Ice cream. The flavors are definitely different. I tried the strawberry lemonade sorbet and it was very sour for my own liking. We also had a coffee one and it tasted like a black cup of coffee. The prices were super reasonable with a kiddie size being 3.50 plus toppings. Which is great size because my two toddlers age 4 and 3 ate just the right amount without any of it going to waste. And they added toppings Which were like .50 each. So very affordable. They have a couple places to sit inside but they also have seating outside. A little tight squeeze if you are in a wheelchair - but the staff is super super friendly they will accommodate everyone. Overall it’s a nice ice cream shop to go to .

Jill and Ryder were great! Helping multiple guests at once, super nice. It is a small shop but it's very clean, very sleek futuristic vibes. There are two tables inside, and two tables outside. Grab the shade and do your best to tolerate the Florida heat, it's worth it.
Salted caramel was amaaaaaaazing! Some of the best I've had in a really long time. Also had the brownie batter, which will be a hit for any chocoholic. No worries if you are uncertain what to get, they offer tiny sample spoons.
10/10 would recommend! I didn't tell you it was my birthday, but I really enjoyed my treat :3

The ice cream is delicious but this is the second time we’ve come in and they don’t have the Cuban ice cream sandwiches available. I understand if you run out of a product but if it isn’t available why is it on all of the menus? Would recommend besides that though!

Astro Handcrafted Ice Cream in Lutz is definitely a unique spot! If you’re looking for bold, adventurous flavors, this place delivers. We tried the Café con Leche and Orange Dreamsicle (one with cheesecake bites, one in a waffle cone topped with marshmallows and a cherry), and all of them were super rich and flavorful. The scoops are large, and the sweetness is intense—delicious, but a bit much for a full scoop if you’re used to lighter flavors. I was hoping to mix in something milder to balance it out, but couldn’t find a lighter option on this visit.
I was especially looking forward to trying the Tampa Guava Cream, but sadly it was sold out—next time for sure! The shop itself is clean, the staff was friendly, and there was plenty of parking, which was great. Seating is very limited, so plan on taking it to go if it’s busy.
Overall, definitely worth a visit if you’re into creative and bold ice cream flavors. We’ll be back!

Such a underrated ice cream shop! The ice cream is handmade and they have amazing unique flavors and always have seasonal selections . I love coming in here the staff is super friendly and very sweet and patient in letting you sample the flavors they have. Best ice cream shop in Wesley chapel tbh!
