BAB's Secret Lounge

Checked out Babs Speakeasy after seeing a TikTok from Tampa Bites & Sites and it absolutely lived up to the vibe. Hidden, intimate, and done right—the atmosphere is moody and classy without feeling forced. Cocktails were well-crafted, not rushed, and you can tell they actually care about the experience here. Perfect spot for a chill night out or a low-key date. Looked great in the video, even better in person. Five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My friend recently showed me this spot and we had a wonderful time! We went in through the back parking lot and I was amazed when I walked in! The ambiance and decor is so nice and unique. I felt so classy!
The bartenders were all incredibly nice. Chris was the one tending to us but all the others were happy to help and constantly asked if we needed anything. They had a small menu but they can also make whatever you ask for if you give them a specific drink or just tell them what you like. My friends and I left to go eat at a restaurant nearby and came back afterwards. When we walked in, Chris saw us and immediately named off the 3 drinks we ordered earlier to see if we wanted another round.
The whiskey with banana bread was amazing!!! I asked for hurricane which wasn’t on the menu but Chris made me a delicious one. I also asked for something special for my friend who was celebrating her engagement. He made us some really tasty shots (even told me the price ahead of time without me having to ask) and set her shot on fire which was such a nice touch.
Although it is pricey when buying multiple drinks, it’s worth it for the atmosphere and level of service you receive, especially for special occasions.

Great atmosphere and over the top drinks don’t like the menu? They will make you a great cocktail based on your preferences. The bar tenders aim to serve lease. I’ve never had a bad drink there.

This place makes the most amazing craft cocktails. All the bartenders are awesome, friendly, and know exactly what they’re doing. Highly recommend the ‘Passing Thyme’. Neat little speakeasy with fun vibe.

Subpar overpriced drinks- banana bread old fashioned was disgusting and took forever to be served. Everyone here was very rude. There is absolutely nothing special about this bar that warrants the bizarre elitist attitude the staff has.

Absolutely a great spot to grab and beautifully crafted cocktail. Amazingly designed and hidden away to provide an intimate setting. Bar staff were amazing and very kind. The art they put into the drinks the serve you speak for itself! If we ever travel back to Florida we will be back!

Nice spot but had to wait over 10 minutes sitting at the bar to even be acknowledged (about 20mins to get a drink) and then got a very mediocre (weak pour & half full) drink for $20. Atmosphere is nice but service/drinks not so much...
