I really like the bagel quality. They just got kinda skinny with the bagels... They used to be chubby and robust. Flavor still good, they all work hard. Like this place and drive 20 min just for bagels.
Service is pretty slow. Two restrooms but NO changing tables?? Bagels are good but there are zero dairy free options for bagels except if you want hummus. As a new Yorker of twenty plus years every NY bagel shop has tofu cream cheese
The bagels had more of a bread feel to them than the tack and firm exterior of boiling, which is fine for bagel sandwiches
I asked to have the cheese changed on my bacon egg and cheese from American to cheddar, and I saw the hand go over the cheddar to the American. I was going to say something but then the bacon came out of the microwave and my jaw dropped, not even oven baked, I'm not saying it needs to be pan seared or anything but microwaved on a tray I knew...
