Our food was so delicious! Love the ambiance of the restaurant! Our waiter did a fantastic job! Will definitely be back!
The food was amazing, as well as the service. We went there for my teens birthday dinner with the family and they loved it. The steaks tasted great and were perfectly cooked. Can't wait to visit again.
I think Birkin is way overrated by previous reviews . It is Not a table cloth restaurant, but has table cloth prices! The food was okay, but overpriced. The restaurant was too loud to enjoy a nice date night!
If they weren't trying to bill themselves as "fine dining," I might feel differently about the experience. This was "dinner" and not "dining." Sushi was great. Apps were mediocre. Steaks were cooked to the right temp, but kind of flavorless. It's pretty obvious the front of house staff have zero fine dining experience (from the hostess speeding around & not making eye contact, to the server to the runners) - they just don't have the coordination or the judgement. The waiter was nice, just not experienced in delivering an elevated experience (or maybe he was told to turn tables faster). We stacked our own app & salad plates and 3 different people brought our dinners. Everyone's food came out at different times, baked potato 10 minutes after the steak, asparagus swimming in garlic. (They did take both off the bill when we complained.)
Our first time and we had a great experience! The food and service were both top notch — everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and a welcoming dining experience. We'll absolutely be back!
Food was good and very decoratively plated. Prices reasonable. Wait staff friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely return!
Second time dining at Birkin's and decided to make reservations for the 4th of July, we were seated right away which was nice, beautiful restaurant. We did wait awhile to get service but with it being a holiday that's understandable, it wasn't busy whatsoever though. Finally got service and decided on a sushi roll which was delicious and everything was downhill from here. Even though we were checked on a few times the entrees were anything but amazing, my ribeye was fatty, and yea I understand Ribeye should have this but it was like a steak from Walmart and I paid an extra $18.95 for “Jumbo” shrimp that definitely were the size of small cocktail shrimp with a taste like they were frozen, wife had a filet definitely not cooked the way she ordered but it tasted very good, she had scallops as a side $19.95 and our waiter stated they only had bacon wrapped scallops which was fine, they came up no bacon?? Strange and scallops were like Bay scallops which frozen already cooked scallops from Publix would be bigger and taste better. Also has a loaded baked potato that came out later than everything else plus we had their famous Birkins butter which you could dip your steak in and the butter wasn't melted and lukewarm. Top it off after spending over $200 for dinner I was brought a receipt charging me close to $350 for another dinner party so left with 2 pending charges which our waiter did apologize and yes mistakes happen but when the place was almost empty except the bar like really? I really wanted this place to be phenomenal as it's local but I'll drive further to go to Eddie Vs as it's our go to and we have never had an issue and it's as expensive so unfortunately I'll never be back at Birkins but wish them the best and hope they improve.
This place was incredible! My family came here tonight for my dad’s 70th birthday. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the vibes were top notch. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Tampa!

Tucked away from the bustling city streets, this newer steakhouse is a delightful surprise for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.
After looking at the menu, we decided to order a filet, which we anticipated would be the highlight of our meal. However, a minor mix-up occurred when our order was mistakenly placed for a New York strip. What could have been a frustrating experience was handled with remarkable grace and professionalism by the staff.
Instead of leaving us waiting idly, our server stepped in with a genuine apology and ensured that we were well taken care of throughout the mishap. To keep the experience enjoyable, they graciously offered us another drink on the house and presented the New York strip for us to enjoy in the meantime. This thoughtful gesture transformed what could have been an annoying situation into a highlight of our evening.
Hats off to our server, who maintained a positive attitude and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. The manager on duty also played a crucial role in making us feel like VIPs, attending to our needs with a level of care that is sadly rare in the dining world today. Their commitment to customer service was evident, and it truly made us feel valued.
When the filet finally arrived, it was everything we had hoped for—perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. By the end of our meal, we were stuffed, but not just with food; we also left with wonderful memories of an exceptional dining experience.
This steakhouse is worth seeking out. The combination of great food, outstanding customer service, and a warm atmosphere makes it a true standout. We will undoubtedly return, not just for the food, but for the impeccable service. If you're in the mood for a fantastic steak and a team that genuinely cares about your experience, don’t miss out on this amazing place!

Birkins Steakhouse & Sushi Bar offers an exceptional dining experience that combines impeccable service, an impressive selection of dishes, and an ambiance that is sophisticated yet relaxed.
The greeting was warm and welcoming. The front-of-house staff made sure my family and I were seated in a timely manner. The owner accommodated a quieter area for our 15 month old and showed extreme professional.
My family and I will be back!

Ate there with 6 friends with a 6pm reservation last Saturday evening. We were seated promptly at a spacious table. The server, Chris was friendly and efficient. The food was excellent and cooked to order. Never felt rushed or hurried while we were dining. The owner came by while we were eating to welcome us and to see if everything was to our satisfaction. Overall a great experience.

Birkin’s Steakhouse in Tampa was a long-anticipated stop for my husband and me on a date night. We’d driven by it countless times, enticed by their advertising of fine seafood and steak. As seasoned foodies who appreciate quality, we were eager to give it a try but, unfortunately, left deeply disappointed.
The restaurant itself is a mix of highs and lows. The bar area was nicely designed, but the dining room and banquet area felt cheaply executed. That said, the booths were comfortable, and the server uniforms added a touch of class.
Our server, while polite, lacked personality and enthusiasm. We started with a dirty martini, French onion soup, and a wedge salad, which were fine—nothing exceptional, but nothing to complain about either. However, things took a turn for the worse when the main courses arrived.
We ordered the large portion of filet, Chilean sea bass, garlic mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach. The filet was shockingly subpar—stringy and more reminiscent of a discount New York strip than the tender cut we expected. The sea bass, a dish I’ve enjoyed many times at other establishments, was a major letdown: neither buttery nor flaky, and closer to pollock in texture. To make matters worse, it was buried under an overpowering cheese sauce and served on an excessive bed of asparagus. The garlic mashed potatoes tasted over-seasoned to the point of resembling Play-Doh, and the creamed spinach was overly salty and gloppy, weighed down by an unnecessary layer of mozzarella.
When the manager came by, we politely shared our thoughts. His response was disappointingly dismissive, with a tone that felt more patronizing than apologetic: “Oh, so sorry you didn’t like it! Can I getcha some dessert?” We declined, and that was the end of it. No meaningful resolution, no acknowledgment of the poor quality, and no attempt to make things right beyond the offer of a dessert we didn’t want.
The waiter came back, and we reiterated our concerns, noting that for the prices they charge, the food and service simply didn’t measure up. Again, all that was offered was dessert. When the bill came, we were surprised to find that nothing had been adjusted. After years of working in the restaurant industry ourselves, we know it’s customary to offer some form of relief—comping an item, removing a side dish, or even just showing genuine concern for the guest’s experience. Here, there was none of that.
When I voiced my surprise that they hadn’t at least removed the barely touched sides, the waiter said, “I got you,” and finally had the manager remove the sea bass. However, by that point, the damage was done. Adding insult to injury, the owner, who was clearly aware of the situation, avoided our table all night while personally visiting nearly every other table in the dining room.
Birkin’s Steakhouse charges high-end prices but delivers low-end quality. From the lackluster food to the indifferent service, it’s clear this restaurant isn’t meeting its own standards—or its customers’ expectations. Save your time and money unless you enjoy being thoroughly disappointed.
