Having lived in Chicago for over 50 years and I might be a pizza snob. Most in FLA fail to be anything good. Especially the chains. I had never been to Blaze before and was wondering how it was going to be. Savannah was amazing! She listened to my concerns and even got me samples of the sauces. Sauce choice made, toppings added and a few minutes later it was delivered to the table. Surprisingly quick. First bite was fantastic and tasted great. The sauce was perfect and crust was nice and thin. Then Erica came over and asked how everything was and I told her it far exceeded my expectations. I will be going back real soon to try some new topping. I was also told they just added a large size pizza. Yea! More of a fantastic pizza.

Our family enjoys Blaze because of the variety of options. Unfortunately, this location last night was a disaster! We ordered four pizzas, two salads and two cinnamon breads for carry out. When my son went to pick up the order, he was there four minutes before our pick up time and the order wasn’t even started yet. When he finally got the order (15 minutes after our pickup time) and was leaving, he was called back by an employee because they forgot to give him one of the salads. He went to leave again and was called back again because they had forgotten to put the chicken on the salad. When my son got to the car, he checked to see if he had all of our items and discovered he was missing one of the pizzas. He had to go back in the store to get the pizza, which had not even been made, and then he had to wait causing the rest of our order to get cold. To make matters worse, when he got home and we took everything out of the bag, we discovered we had not even gotten my salad, therefore I did not have anything to eat. And don’t even get me started about the way the food looked. One of the pizzas was supposed to have pesto “drizzle” and it was definitely not a drizzle. It looked like green cat vomit all over the pizza!
I filled out the survey I was sent after our order, thinking we would be compensated for the missing salad and horrible pizza, at the least. Much to my surprise, the automated apology text I received the next day only gave me a coupon for a free pizza. Nothing like having your dinner for six people ruined, including your food completely missing and then being sent an automated text apology as if it didn’t matter. Do better, Blaze pizza!.
UPDATE (3 weeks later): I just tried to place an order and use the promo code I received for a free pizza and find out it doesn’t even work! They don’t even take responsibility for their mistakes. Sad!

Stopped in with my son pretty late, maybe 15–20 minutes before closing, and asked if it was too late to order. The staff was super welcoming and didn’t make us feel like we were a hassle at all. Honestly, I would’ve understood if they said no since it was so close to closing time, but instead they were friendly, professional, and made us feel at home. Pizza came out great too. Really appreciate the attitude and customer service here, it makes all the difference.

This Blaze Pizza is by far the best location I’ve ever visited. The staff is consistently kind, positive, and they make excellent pizzas. The blonde manager/shift lead (unfortunately I didn’t catch her name) is an incredible leader—the way she encourages her team creates an atmosphere that radiates positivity and excellence.
In an industry where true service often feels forgotten, this Blaze Pizza location has raised the bar and shows what it means to serve the community well.
Hands down, this is my favorite pizza spot in all of Tampa Bay.
