After trying several Chinese restaurants around town we would say this is by far the best. Food is always fresh and made to order. Good price and great service. I would recommend.

China Taste on Van Dyke is hands down one of the best local Chinese restaurants around! The food is always hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Every dish tastes made-to-order, with generous portions and great prices that make it an easy favorite for takeout nights.
Their egg drop soup is especially amazing — rich, comforting, and perfectly seasoned, with that classic silky texture that’s hard to get just right. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Pair it with their lo mein, sesame chicken, or fried rice and you’ve got a perfect meal.
The staff is friendly, quick, and always welcoming. Whether you call ahead or order in person, the service is fast and reliable, and your food is always ready when promised.
If you’re in the Lutz or Van Dyke area and craving great Chinese food, China Taste is a must-try. Delicious food, great service, and unbeatable consistency — definitely a five-star spot!

As of Sunday November 2nd, had ordered through Uber a pu pu platter, spring rolls, and a whole other assortment of dishes. However, it did not come with the sauce that belongs with the appetizers. For example, crab rangoon usually comes with a red sauce; it is not something that is requested. It comes with it! Since we typically order from China Taste at several times per week as loyal customers, my wife called to get the situation rectified. My wife was told by an Associate the red sauce that usually comes with the crab rangoon is something that's requested. That is a load of bull! They just lost my business after ordering from China Taste for at least 5 years. the service call was poor and they will no longer get our business. Buyer beware!
Addendum 1:44 pm The owner of China Taste called my wife and explained the situation and made amends by offering that our next meal will be free. We'll see how that goes but I definitely appreciate the owner calling us to make it things right.

This our go to Chinese take out & delivery place - we moved and still prefer China Taste’s food. We usually get Lo mein, fried rice, wonton soup. The wonton soup comes with a ton of wontons.

Person (young girl) taking phone orders gets confused and messed up our meal yet again. Asked for a large order of shredded szechuan pork and small roast pork fried rice. She asked what kind of rice I wanted because it came with the shredded pork. Told her if it comes with the fried rice then I don't want the extra small pork fried rice. Ended up with a small dinner and was charged $2.00 for a tiny container of fried rice. Also ordered 2 soups and large chicken and broccoli that came with white rice. Done with dealing with her incompetence.

Hands down 1 of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever had. The food is amazing and tasteful it has flavor unlike sum places. I’ve had Chinese food all around fl, parts of New Jersey and even New York and Canada. I would choose this location over any other place I’ve been to. FAIR PRICED. I’m currently eating my normal order from a place in pasco and it’s bland and costed more 🤦♂️ should’ve waited til I got home to go here.
