The food was great as always.The gentleman working this morning seemed to be the only one on shift and even with a hefty lunch crowd coming in he managed to not only keep a great attitude but put everything out efficiently. Keep up the great work!
Limited seating or standing space as you’re waiting for your order. I went to pour myself a cup of lemonade (they were out) and there was sugar mold in the fountain dispenser that came out in my cup. I took a napkin and tried to clean all the mold out. I then decided to get root beer instead and the same sugar mold started falling in my cup. Hopefully it all came out before I decided to fill my cup all the way up. I was already concerned by seeing this, but even more so cause it’s hard to see with a dark drink.You’re fountain machine nozzles need to be taken out and cleaned regularly!The kitchen is also open for anyone to see, you see the staff grabbing all the food with no gloves on. Dropping them in the fryers and placing into bags still no gloves. Food safety!
I came here for my first time on a Sunday recently since they were the only one open for Mr. Empanads locations. Their prices are higher than any other 3 locations I frequent in Tampa. Also, the pastry used on the beef and cheese was not the same as the other 3 locations. I threw the food in the trash. No thanks. I'll stick to South Tampa, Armenia & Carrollwood.

Place is never open. Hours say open and you roll up and closed. They have great food but come on. I have to know when I roll up on a Friday at 6:30 pm your open. Yes...Friday at 6:30pm closed.

Placed a delivery order during normal business hours. My order was subsequently cancelled by the store with no reason given. This is the 3rd time this has happened in last few months. I will no longer dine at any Mr. Empanadas.

The devil crab empanada was the best one. We tried the spinach and artichoke, the guava and cream cheese and the apple. All of them tasted delicious. The empanadas are medium sized but they are fully stuffed, not like other places where the empanadas are large but almost empty inside. I really recommend this place. The staff are friendly.

My daughter and I stumbled upon this place after one of her dentist appointments several months ago. She loves empanadas, so we were very excited to try it. Their empanadas are DELICIOUS. Very fresh, crispy, and tasty. I also like their salad. We've been back a few times now since my daughter suggested we start a tradition of "Dentist & Empanadas." :) The food is always consistent, and the staff are friendly and honest. The prices are also amazing - less than $10 per person is phenomenal in this day and age. We love Mr. Empanada!

YUMVisited Sun during lunch and had quick service.Food was good and as expected. Cuban & 1 Empanada. A buddy ordered the combo of 4 Empanadas and he couldn’t finish them all. They offer various fountain drinks + tea. I love Cuban sandwiches and theirs was good all the way!Restrooms appeared clean. Easy in/out of location however keep in mind parking spots are pretty far from the front door. If your elderly or have a hard time walking please keep this in mind. There are only 3 tables/chairs inside with a couple larger tables outside.My suggestion is you give it a try and leave a rating to help others.

Burned. How can they even serve this? They saw it was burned and still packed it and served. Sadly, I realized once I got home and wasn’t going to go back for an empanada. Their thinking: not fry another one > keep a client.
