We had Father’s Day lunch here and were deeply disappointed with the food. Although the servers were excellent my onion rings were served to me cold and my dad had a hair in his food. The fried oysters were not seasoned AT ALL. The kick it shrimp was submerged in so much sauce that it was extremely soggy and it tasted like you were just eating a glob of sauce with a little bit of shrimp which is surprising because my aunt also had the kick it shrimp and barely got any sauce on hers.
The kicking shrimp appetizer was good and our server was wonderful.
The blackened mahi mahi bites we ordered had a weird extra fishy taste. I couldn’t stomach one bite. The green beans were from a can and tasted like black olives.
The wait staff is awesome. Treats you like family, as I was adopted as a child. The is great. Food is amazing, portions are as big as the Manager's heart. I love her as if she was my sister.
The regulars here are a joy to watch, listen to and partake in their shenanigans.
Keep it real and enjoyable.
Was a great catch
So my first trip I asked what (Full Belly) was on several of the dishes. The waitress did not know. The cook could only say it taste like fried Oysters. When pressed what animal it was they couldn’t tell me. I asked if they could even tell me what part of the animal it was only answer was it tastes like oysters but it’s not oysters. We had to leave I can’t order food if the cook doesn’t even know what they are cooking. Being next to a pet supply and Chinese food who knows what it was.
Excellent
Food was great!!
Loved it. Best wings in town
We visited The Great Catch as a group in an effort to try many different things as we were tempted by the menu. While the service we had from Laura was OUTSTANDING, the food and atmosphere were just OK. We believe this is a converted Beef O Brady's location so the atmosphere is along that line. I give them credit as the spicy shrimp as well as the sea scallops were very good. The crab cake bites were overcooked, the fried green tomatoes and onion rings were in a flavorless batter. The fried oysters were over battered and the hush puppies were as hard as rocks. The lobster was a bit tough and the crab legs, while a very generous portion were a bit dry and did not have much flavor. The beer was ice cold and the Margarita was upgraded to Patron as they were out of their house Tequila and they were small but good. So 5 on the service, 3 for the atmosphere and most importantly 3 for the food. Overall I would give it a 3.5 at best but until we can do half scores here, I'm going to go with a 3 overall as the departing group comments were just OK and in no hurry to come back.
Went to The Great Catch on St. Patrick’s Day 🍀 It was a good balance of the holiday and the restaurant’s good food and fresh atmosphere. Our server, Becca, was friendly and efficient 😊 We will be back.

We got the fisherman platter, asked for clams with whole Billies. When it came out, it looked delicious but it was overcooked and nothing had any taste, not the fish, and batter was on too thick and what they did was chop up the bellies. We didn’t get whole bellies they put pieces in there and I told the waitress about this because they charge eight dollars extra, and she did nothing about it. We not be going back there.

Service was great, but the lobster roll is nothing famous, nor special. If its your first ever lobster roll you will like it, till you eat a real one but man dont call it a "lobster" roll if like majority of it is filled with imatation crab. Like seriously???
Fries were very good, mozzerella sticks were okay at best.
I think i wont be returning just knowing its "that" kind of business...false advertising. The staff was good and friendly, and they seem to love their job. Our waitress was very great.
Id say give the place a shot and try their other stuff, definitely not the roll.
