Vistes this spot for the first time yesterday. Such a cool little spot. It was cool to watch the planes taking off and landing while we ate.
They were a little under staffed so there was a bit of a wait to be served.
The food was good although my eggs were overcooked.
In their defense I didn’t alert the server since she already seemed over whelmed.
We will be back.
Fast forward- brought the hubs today. He is picky- said the breakfast burrito was “money”!

Traveling back from Kentucky for Thanksgiving. Put in google places for breakfast.. Happy Hangar Cafe popped up. So we thought we would try.. great find.. good simple breakfast.. very well priced.. friendly staff and great view to watch the morning rush hour of planes ✈️ taking off.. definitely will be on our radar the next time

Food and service is great! Good prices. Watching planes taking off and landing while eating is a bonus.
For nearly a year we have gone to Happy Hangar every Sunday. When we first started going, everything was phenomenal. We have experienced the steady decline of the food quality, the portions, and even the service over time. Food comes out cold (just had a side of turkey sausage come out stone cold), portion sizes are shrinking (specifically the Corned Beef Hash breakfast has shrunk), and the last few times we have had orders come out wrong because servers are just not attentive. Two of the servers who have been here the entire time are still great, but some of the other newer servers are not good at all. Just super disappointed that our Sunday tradition might end because they can’t stay consistent.

Family took us here for breakfast and we fell in love. The food is great - all our dishes were very good. The service was very good. The atmosphere is awesome for any aviation enthusiast. We will be back!

Great place. It was cool how people could land their personal planes on the airstrip and go in and have a meal. Food was great too

Our experience at Happy Hangar was disappointing. A simple BLT omelet was made with only bacon and cheese. The food overall was too greasy and tasted like it was cooked in a stick of butter. Service was okay, but our waitress spent most of the time complaining about the “host” to us. The atmosphere felt more like an office break room than a café.
We won’t be returning, but for anyone reading this, check out Brunchies on 54 instead — always great food, friendly staff, and excellent service. Plus, no orange fool propaganda!

Visited with my kids for breakfast and a coworker for lunch and both times everything was great. My breakfast was perfect, service was great, and the kids loved sitting outside watching the plans go by, taking off, landing, or moving around the property.
