This is supposed to be our quaint little pizza joint that also serves other food. Last night we took our kids there to eat before the Christmas golf cart parade. After literally 25 minutes of waiting for a server, I ordered a slices of cheese for my 2 kids and wife. After 15 minutes, the server brought 3 literal slices of cheese. At first I thought he was being nice to my kids to have something to munch on while waiting for our pizza. After another 10 minutes, I let him know our pizza still never arrived. He said what pizza, you ordered cheese. Who the F would ordered actual cheese slices!!! I thought I was being punked. Since the parade was about to start we needed to leave vs waiting 20 more minutes for actual pizza so he gave me the bill. He charged me for cheese… I guess I need to be more clear at a restaurant that sells pizza to say 3 slices of cheese pizza for 3 slices of cheese. Imagine if I said I’ll take 3 slices of pepperoni… crazy. The smirk he had on his face made me think he did it on purpose since it was too busy to actually provide good service. I have been there numerous times and most times are pretty goods this one takes the cake of any experience I’ve ever had. The last time we were there the server argued that Nutella was just chocolate and didn’t have nuts. My daughter is highly allergic. We ordered pancakes with chocolate chips and instead got a side of Nutella. Definitely done with this place. Sad too since it’s in my neighborhood.

We love tavern at Cheval. The service, food, and atmosphere are exceptional! Our favorite brunch place in Lutz. Every visit feels special and personal. We love the tavern at cheval!

Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu and kids eat free on Thursdays. The chef even made my picky eater another option when the family went for brunch.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp up to the restaurant

Where else do you get a Sunday brunch seafood buffet with fresh crab legs for 24$? Amazing experience, omelette bar, ahi tuna salad, and amazing crepes. The service is excellent. Beautiful view of the golf course and if you have kids, it’s a nice quick break/date when you use the childcare. Drinks are affordable and delicious. Great service. Honestly if you’re a member of the country club this is an amazing place to have to eat.

Way too overpriced menu, and the dining room was way too hot. I was breaking a sweat just having lunch. Bathroom smelled of urine and the sinks were dirty. I also heard they use old products for the “Sunday Brunch” No thanks!!

Last night my fiancé and I came here for dinner. The food was really good! Our server Sharen was extremely sweet and very attentive. However, we witnessed a male server scream at the top his lungs at our server. We are unsure what about, but our server ran to the bathroom to what I would assume to cry. No management around to witness. I am in the service industry myself and understand disagreements happen, but to scream at someone in front of customers is not okay!! We cashed out after seeing this as we felt very uncomfortable. We hope she is okay. I would’ve quit right then and there. We won’t be back

They owe me money for hours I worked. Place is a dump coolers dont work. No labels on anything selling old nasty food and using moldy cheese for everything. Seen the restaurant manager put new shredded cheedar on top of old cheddar . I went to change pans and realized the cheese on the bottom molded up she also dropped buns on the floor and picked it up and proceeded to use it. All the meat besides the chicken is frozen. They dont wash their produce . Romaine gets cut up and not rinsed along with every other veggie. Proceed with caution at this place. Piccata, marsala and damn near every sauce and soup in there is thickened with corn starch. No love no passion. If you order just order pizza and fried foods if the fryer is fresh . If not theyll use the oil till its like oil in your car engine.

Over price and not so good. For an upscale neighborhood the restaurant is blah in atmosphere. The food, ugh. At least they use to have a good bacon cheeseburger and fries, no more.I started out by ordering chicken piccata. What I got was one dry tough chick breast. If you look up chicken piccata it is chicken cutlets from the breast, not chick breast with lemon sauce. They came over an asked how everything was so I did what I don't usually do, I sent it back and asked to just bring a bacon cheeseburger. Well if you ask for a burger you better make it a double because there isn't much burger. However, there was a lot of bacon and the bacon was pretty good.Would I go back, doubt it. I have never found it to be a good place to eat. And don't think of having a banquet there. LOL, a local HS had a sports banquet there a few years ago. It was only spaghetti and they couldn't get that right. They ran out before everyone was fed. I mean it was only spaghetti. The following year they had the banquet at Heritage Harbor and it was much better.
