“If you’re craving authentic Venezuelan food in Lutz, FL, Super Tequeño is a must-visit! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. The staff truly makes you feel like family, and the manager personally followed up after our meal to make sure everything was perfect — that level of care says it all.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was bursting with authentic Venezuelan flavor — perfectly seasoned, fresh, and full of that homemade touch. The tequeños were golden, crispy, and loaded with just the right amount of cheese, easily some of the best I’ve had anywhere in Tampa Bay. The arepas and pabellón criollo were incredible too — large portions, beautifully presented, and priced very reasonably.

Their lunch specials are unbeatable — generous servings at a great value, perfect for anyone looking for a delicious mid-day meal. The attention to detail in both taste and presentation really shows the pride they take in their cooking.

It’s rare to find a spot that combines authentic Venezuelan cuisine, large portions, excellent service, and a caring staff, but Super Tequeño delivers on all fronts. “Great food, it’s fresh, tasty and a great portion for the price you are paying for, this review is based in their base burger, it was nice that the fries were included in the same price as the burger, the bread itself was soft, spongy and buttery… this place is a hidden gem for sure. P.D: as a Venezuelan this resembles more the fast food from Maracay, Caracas and Valencia.“

“Phenomenal!! This is one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Our family shared our meals. The Cachapatona was my favorite. It was a perfect mixture of sweet and savory with a delicious explosion of flavor. The arepas were great and so was the Café Con Leche. If you haven't dined here you are missing out!! The servers were very sweet, the restaurant was nice and clean. I only wish they had a location in Alabama.“

“Very good food and desserts. The cannoli was not what I was expecting but it was okay nonetheless. If you are looking for an actual, Italian style cannoli than I wouldn't recommend here. But if you are okay with the Venezuelan way to make them, they are okay (and hence the reason for one less star). Other than that, would definitely order again! The photo is the dulce de leche cannoli, tarteleta fresca and milhojas de dulce de leche.“

“usf did are pitas so dirty by kicking them out the other location they were in. I’ve had arepas from 4 other locations in the past month and Are Pitas clears all of them. My Venezuelan friend also say these are the best arepas in the entire country.

Come and get the fried Pabellon arepa and enjoy. This place is awesome, and I hope they can build up to what they were before. The vibes aren’t that amazing, but dont judge them based on stuff they can’t control. Come for the food and enjoy the delicious hand made and family made recipes.
