I have eaten at Major's Smokehouse many times since they have opened at their new location in Lynn Haven, Florida. The staff is always friendly, courteous and ready to help. This is a family owned, Christian establishment which creates a relaxing atmosphere by playing Christian music in the background and its charming, rustic decor is perfect for a barbecue restaurant. Some favorites are the smoked chicken salad, smoked wings, baked beans, amazing brunswick stew and you can't forget the homemade banana pudding. We will be back. See you next time Major's!
Hands down the best Bbq and catering . We had them cater an event for 30+ folks and let me tell you everything was outstanding. We had brisket, chicken, ribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken salad, and wings(all were perfectly prepared and delicious) we also had mac n cheese, collard green ( just like grandma use to make), baked beans, spicy Cole slaw and regular Cole slaw. (Again everything was spot on) working with majors to get the menu for our event together was easy and thorough. Btw they also delivered it to us freeing us up for other things. In summary… do yourself a favor and try Major’s Bbq …you will not be disappointed.. it’s mmmmmm goooood!!!

Order smoked turkey it was brown and disgusting and didn't tease like turkey at all so I asked them to change it out for smoked chicken white meat and the manager brought out burnt, now what manager brings to you brunt chicken !!! Sorry lost my tease ? ?

My husband and I both ordered the pull pork sandwich combo with drink and a side..The sweet tea was delicious..the onion rings were so so..the brunswick stew was really good..the pulled pork on the sandwich had a wonderful smokey quality just like the brunswick stew..I wish the bun could have been steamed or warmed some other way..that part kind of turned me off,,the place is as cute as it can be, and our server was so nice and helpful. I wish I could remember her name..Angel or Angela..having been in the food service industry ( now retired), I was impressed with how she handled the busy lunch crowd coming in..been there before...We will definitely come back and maybe try the ribs or the brisket..Thanks again for lunch !

Banana pudding is to die for
My daughter has been speaking so highly of this place so I decided to drop in for lunch. I was a little taken aback because it was EMPTY during the busiest time of the day however, it didn’t stop me from ordering. I ordered a rib dinner, a sausage sandwich with greens on the side. The greens taste like they came from a can, the ribs were tuff and seemed like they were boiled ( no taste and pale in color) the sausage was under cooked. I could’ve went back and ask them to fix it however it looked like that was the best they could do. I won’t be back😩
