Great home-cooked food. The service was top notch. I remember eating at Po Folks in the 80's. The quality of food hasn't changed one bit. This restaurant is more down home and casual, clean and inviting. They offer Southern home-style food that is well-prepared, tasty (comfort food). My friend loves the whole catfish and I enjoy the chicken fried steak or grilled/country fried pork chops with mashed potatoes and white gravy. Great coleslaw, greens, and red beans and rice! Tempted to try their liver and onions. The staff is always friendly and provide excellent service. I live in Graceville, Florida and visit Panama City monthly. Po' Folks is always our/my first choice for a reasonably priced meal.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available, which consists of a selection of their vegetable side dishes.Kid-friendliness: This is a family sit-down restaurant. No play areas.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps provide easy access to the restaurant, and dining areas. A handicapped stall is available in the ladies restroom.

We were lucky to find this place. We enjoyed it so much that we went back a second time. Friendly, fast service. Very good food at a fair price. Don't skip the fried chicken and sweet tea.Parking: No parking problem, there is plenty. May need to drop a member of your party at the front door if it is difficult to walk on gravel.
