The waitress was extremely polite and went above and beyond, the cook is top-notch and I have four kids, two of them are very young and the employees didn't mind that the little ones were wandering around playing with the jukebox and sitting at the counter seats watching everything. Stopped in on our way back home restaurant was not busy at ALL.. waitress greeted us right away with our drink order. we placed our order and waited around 20 minutes before our food arrived . With this Waffle House it depends on the cook, the food is for the most part good. They actually have one cook who I think is the best in any Waffle House, he cooks an omelet straight from Heaven . He was alone the other morning about 6am. They shouldn't leave one person alone there, even if it is early, but I'm no authority on the subject ,maybe there's a reason, I don't know, but the restaurant is usually clean and the staff are Wonderful.
