I started going to Athena’s when my son and family first moved to Maitland over 17 years ago. Since 2018 I went there at least once a week. Having to move back to Connecticut, I miss their chicken so much. My grandchildren know when I come to visit that is the first place I stop to eat. Their chicken is always so delicious and moist. I wish they would open a place here ❤️
I have been going to Athena's since 1989. I have never had a bad meal. Everyone is always friendly. The food is great! my go to meal has always been the 1/4 white with a small Greek salad. I always get a large side of potato salad to go. Service is quick and efficient. I recommend 100%
As of 8/20/22: they are closed on Saturdays due to staffing shortage. Which probably means Sunday, too.
Didn’t know this as website stated it was open. Drove 20 minutes to realize they are closed.
