In general the food at this restaurant is very good. However I just waited 50 minutes for a takeout order while sitting in the restaurant. The restaurant was not overly busy (several empty tables). I live nearby so I went in with the intention of being in and out. This is after I attempted to call the restaurant twice. Completely unacceptable, such poor service. I wasn’t even offered a water as I sat at the bar for nearly an hour.

This was my first time coming, and I must say that I am a critic when it comes to my grits. But I must say that the breakfast bowl with grits, eggs, cheese, and bacon crumbles was a great choice. The consistency was creamy and not gritty, and it was very flavorful.I did not have to doctor them up as I normally would have to at most places. Oh, and the portion sizes were good for the price. The stuffed French toast was delicious as well.Lastly, our server Heather was very friendly, quick, and efficient.Parking: Was a little confused as where to park

The times I've dined at Brick & Spoon for brunch, the food, cocktails & service have been excellent! The servers are warm, welcoming, & accommodating making you glad you came...bravo! The server & manager explained that due to staff shortages & inflation, which are typically causing slower business for the majority of restaurants these days; they are sometimes out of certain items on the menu. However, the menu has many options to make up for that unfortunate reality often experienced in this economic downturn. As a frequent restaurant diner & interior designer, I might add that the atmosphere is nice, however too vastly "open", void of a welcoming, cozier feeling that one appreciates when dining out. From experience, if their large dining area & small bar were even at 50% capacity, one could not hear the family, friends, or business associates at your table. Although, the space would be perfect for a company or family event, allowing folks to circulate before & after dining.Overall, Brick & Spoon is an awesome place to enjoy good food, cocktails & service, but it has the potential to be so much more with just a few tweaks to the interior design to help elevate the dining ambiance! ✨️?✨️Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room at the tables for high chairs & booster seatsWheelchair accessibility: Ground level with plenty of room to accommodate all types of accessibility ♿️

So lucky to have such an accommodating restaurant in our community. I bring my students here for field trips- they service our special needs class with such respect and care. Fantastic food- so spacious for those in wheelchairs- and outstanding management.Wheelchair accessibility: So spacious! From the front area where you can park strollers and chairs- to the seating. They fully accommodate those with disabilities!

Brunch was excellent here. I had the eggs Benedict and beignets. The mimosas were excellent. Parking was not the best, but the park adjacent to the property more then made up for that with a peaceful after Brunch walk.
